Aurora chuckled softly, correcting him, "No, that's not what I meant. Your words... they're oddly comforting. You can keep talking." She turned to meet his gaze, a subtle smile playing on her lips.
"I appreciate that," he said. "But now I have nothing else to say."
Aurora's smile flattened. "Fair enough," she muttered softly, her gaze shifting back to the river. For a moment, neither of them spoke; they both sat in silence watching the water flow by. Finally, Aurora broke the silence. "My parents, I have always wondered what they were like. Can you tell me more about them?"
