Old Yao seemed unaware of the somewhat awkward atmosphere in the classroom.
He took out a timer from his pocket, checked the time, then cleared his throat and walked back to the podium:
"Self-introduction, this is the first question you face in college."
"Humans are social animals. When you come to this island, the first university, alone, you first need to integrate into this unfamiliar society."
When he got here, he paused for a moment, scanning the classroom with a sharp gaze.
"Your performance was poor."
" It disappoints me."
The new students sat straight, looking a bit nervously at the professor on the podium.
Old Yao, clenching his pipe, paced slowly on the podium, slowing down his tone:
"Facing a strange environment, not knowing how to present yourself, not knowing how to highlight your characteristics. All these, you will have to learn later."
