As a powerful organization under the Mage Alliance, the primary responsibilities of Trident Sword were mostly related to demon activities. For instance, if a demon was wreaking havoc on civilians in a certain area, or if a wizard in a tower was suspected of conducting corrupt experiments, or if an ancient demon seal was found to be loosening and needed checking and reinforcement, and so on.
In short, as most wizards saw it, any job handled by the Trident Sword was high-risk and complex. Hence, it was quite unusual for an officer of the Trident Sword to come just because a single Fishman was wandering on Pedestrian Street.
