After leaving the stands of Jiuyou Academy, Half-Face did not immediately turn toward the stands of the other academies.
He squeezed through a narrow gate at the edge of the stands, crossed a winding, deep corridor, and finally arrived in a simple room.
As this room was located directly beneath the stands, the roof was sloped. Through the grey ceiling, one could faintly hear the stomping and cheers of the audience in the stands above.
Besides a row of Japanese paulownia wardrobes in front of the inner wall, and a long, slender wooden bench in the middle of the room, the four bare stone walls were devoid of any decoration.
This was the rest area for Hunting Ground One. Normally, the hunting teams training in Hunting Ground One would rest and change their hunting robes in this narrow room, perhaps even setting up a table for a strategy discussion.
But today was evidently an exception.
