In the wizarding world, hunting is a very serious matter.
Depending on the hunting method used, hunting parties often choose different competitions. For instance, the enclosure hunting mode which emphasizes teamwork, the trapping mode focusing on the rapport between hunters and their pets, the tracking mode testing the comprehensive abilities of hunters, and so on.
The competition chosen by the school hunting party is the most traditional enclosure hunting mode.
Under normal circumstances, the hunting team would enter different hunting areas after entering the field. The seeking hunters separate themselves from the team as soon as they enter the hunting ground, proceed deep into the field alone searching for traces of demons, and continuously send back valuable information to the team.
Once the prey is spotted, the main hunter and two auxiliary hunters would strike swiftly to kill or capture the prey.
