Zheng Qing was no stranger to blood-red tears.
Just the night before, at the Wandering Bar, he had been tricked by Zhang Ji Xin into eating chili candy, which led to a string of blood-red tears.
However, shedding red tears himself and watching someone else do the same carried two drastically different experiences.
The former left him in a daze, whilst the latter incited immense fear.
Furthermore, he clearly remembered that his tears were light in color and uneven in hue. When he wiped them on the back of his hand, he could even smell the pungent odor of chili.
They were nothing like the tears currently flowing down the doctor's face.
The blood tears were vivid, viscous, heavy, and black-tinged deep within the red, reminiscent of mercury. They traversed down the creased lines, flowing over the doctor's sallow cheeks, slowly seeping downwards.
"Your eyes!" Zheng Qing couldn't help but cry out in astonishment.
