The annual ball of the Red Moon Pack was underway. Many young men and women were vigorously showcasing their charm at the party. Selena stood on the balcony, watching them toast each other.
Not long ago, Selena was one of them, worrying about her sister marrying that demon named Charles and the torment she might suffer.
In reality, it was she who married Charles, and it was she who loved and then parted from him.
A cry of surprise came from below; a pair of werewolves had just discovered they were each other's mates.
They hugged each other excitedly, greedily inhaling the scent from each other's necks. Selena was sincerely happy for them. She took off a ring from her finger and had a servant give it to them.
The couple was thrilled to receive the ring and looked up at Selena.
“This is my heartfelt blessing to you,” Selena said with sincerity in her eyes.
“Alpha, it’s our honor to have your blessing,” the couple replied joyfully.
