“I only consider the interests of the Black Valley pack, but you, you seem to be maintaining the pack but trying to sow discord between the Alpha and Luna!?” Billy questioned Penelope.
Penelope, in a fit of rage, smashed a glass cup into pieces. “Selena is not your Luna! She betrayed the Black Valley pack and killed our people. She is our enemy!”
“I need to report this directly to you, Alpha.”
Billy, wanting to discuss directly with Charles, impatiently evaded Penelope and pushed open the bathroom door.
But as soon as he entered, a mask was thrown at his face.
“Kneel!” came a stern command.
“Yes...” Billy took the mask representing Charles, knelt on one knee, head bowed, respectfully awaiting orders.
“I don’t care about my past with Selena, but she left me. Now I have Penelope, and Penelope is your Luna! You should understand this fact. Otherwise, if you defy me again, you’ll lose your life,” the voice was emotionless and cold, making Billy tremble.
