That day Selena decided to leave my pack, and as the Alpha, I made my presence known. I never thought she would do such a thing. How could she dare to leave without my consent!
“Selena Taylor, I warn you. If you dare to leave today, I will declare the Red Moon pack and the Black Valley pack as enemies. All members of the Red Moon pack, including you, will be my enemies!”
Threatening words spilled out habitually. I saw a flash of shock and hesitation in her eyes; obviously, my words had an effect, but I wasn't happy. I didn’t want to threaten the person I love. I wanted to take back that sentence, but that was impossible.
Should I express my true feelings, that I don’t want her to leave me? But that doesn’t fit my Alpha identity. Just as I thought I should say something to make up for it, she decisively turned and walked away, leaving me with only her solitary figure.
