Selena's POV
After I said this, I saw a look of surprise in Charles' eyes.
Perhaps it was because I was so determined that Charles did not object to what I said. He said "Yes" and then turned to leave the bedroom. He did not forget to close the door as he left, so Nyx and I could talk.
"Nyx, I'm sorry, I was distracted." I'm very sorry, and had a bitter smile. "Could you please tell me again why you're here?"
"Selena, none of those matters." Nyx looked at me and sighed. "I'd like to know what happened after you left the Moon Sea Pack last time."
I remember Nyx being a little cold to me in the Moon Sea Pack. She was a lot warmer today. I don't know what made Nyx change, but it was exactly what I needed right now.
Maybe she can help me.
"A lot has happened since then, and I can tell you anything you want to hear," I said to Nyx.
Nyx nods. "Good. I'm all ears."
