Madelyn's POV
The maid's words made my heart clench and my head buzz.
It took me a moment to come to my senses, and I went to the bedside to see Selena. She closed her eyes and fell asleep, frowning. I couldn't tell if she was still bleeding because she was covered in a quilt, but from the look on her pale face, I knew her condition was going to be worse than when we first got back to the room.
As soon as I opened my mouth, I couldn't help but cry, “Dr. Jonny, please help Selena! Please!”
"Okay, I'll check her right away!"
Dr. Jonny was also aware of the urgency of the situation. He took medical gloves and tools from his fist aid box and carefully pulled the quilt off Selena.
