{In the Tutorial Village}
Lukas looked at the skill 3 skill books one by one, he tapped one by one through each of them and read through their description.
The main reason Lukas selected this class was because of the skill books. Although he wasn't planning to hoard skills that were useless, any skill that would have even a tiny bit of utility, he didn't mind buying.

...
[Mana Bullet (Active) {Common}: A basic attack where you use your mana and shape it in the form of a bullet.

...
[Slash (Active) {Common}: A mana-enhanced slash that can be used in conjugation with any bladed weapons.

Mana Cost = 20 Mana]
...
There were a few things Lukas noticed, the first was that the damage of the Mana-based attack was a lot less than a physical attack.
'And why is there a skill that improves Mana control, I remember that when I used the skill attacked to my dagger it only used 10 mana.' Lukas thought he kept the questions aside for now as he looked at the other things that were in his inventory.
Thask didn't have the basic stuff that was sold in the armor shop that Lukas checked, instead, he had basic accessories.

The last three columns were filled with three intermediate health potions that each fill up a 1000 Health at a time.
After going through the inventory in relative silence, Lukas finally spoke, "Why is there a skill called Mana control, if I learn the skill Mana bullet wouldn't I be able to use it? What's the point of Mana control?"
Thask looked at Lukas like he was an idiot before he asked in a gruff voice, "Didn't you go through the first ascension yet?"
"I did," Lukas replied, he wasn't able to understand what Thask was on about.
'Is there something I missed.'
Thask stood there silently for a minute before he sighed and spoke, "Just buy the skill if you wanna know..."
He did a whole act of exasperation but Lukas could see that he had an excited glint in his eyes.
'He's trying to scam me I see, but it doesn't matter, I could learn the skill anyway.' Lukas thought as he nodded and spoke.
"Okay, how much?" Lukas asked.
"2 Silver" Thask replied, his face was back to his stoic look but he was still looking forward to what Lukas replied.
"Do you think money grows on trees, I just came into this world today," Lukas rolled his eyes at Thask as he began walking away.
...
'1...2...'
"Alright alright, I'll give it to you for 1 Silver, no less," Thask replied, he looked like he had backed down but Lukas didn't stop, he knew he needed a market price check before he could deal with him.
"I'll have one silver by tomorrow, I'll come by later to take that skill off you," Lukas replied, he didn't look back but he was sure that Thask would be there when he returned.
"Okay, I'll give it to you for 50, come back!" Thask nearly shouted, when Lukas turned around he was looking a little terrified but he was waving his hands frantically.
'He really is afraid of being found out, that means the safe zone isn't as effective as it seems to be.'
Lukas walked back and soon a notification appeared in front of him.
...
[Thask Atter Regg wants to trade his item with you]
[Trade Skill Book [Mana Control (Passive) {Uncommon}] with 50 copper?]
[Yes/No]
...
'Maybe it's skill above market price still with 50 bronze but the skill looks expensive as it is an uncommon skill so even if it doesn't work I can take the hit.'
Lukas clicked yes and Thask's face lit up, his wrinkles contracted as he smiled somewhat crookedly and spoke, "Heh, go ahead try to learn it, Kukukuuku..."
Lukas looked at Thask laughing as he looked at the skill book, a small skill window appeared in front of him.
...
[Skill book {Mana Control (Passive) {Uncommon}} acquired]
[Prerequisite to learn this skill: {Mana Control (Passive) {Uncommon}} at level Max, Mana >100]
[Would you like to learn this skill?]
[Yes/No]
...
Both the Yes and No options were available to Lukas he could simply click on Yes and learn the skill but he ignored it and put the skill into his inventory.
"Wait what are you doing, you just came into this tutorial world I could buy back the skill book from you for 30 copper coins," Thask spoke hurriedly but Lukas shook his head and walked away.
"I'll talk to you tomorrow when I get some more money," He spoke as he walked out.
"wait wait, you can't even learn it, it is a skill that only the mage class needs since you didn't get the common version of the skill it means that you are a close combat class..." Thask hurriedly tried to explain but Lukas ignored him, it was both a power move but also because he already got what he needed.
'Looking at his reaction the price of this skill should be slightly higher than 50, he just sold it to me to scam me for some money.' Lukas thought as he left the alley behind. He had already looked through the shops that were controlled by the overseer.
'That's what Dask called these screens right, the overseer.' Lukas thought as he walked into a shop that had an armor and weapons symbol on it. Unlike the previous shops where the items were displayed on a screen, there was a Thorld waiting at a counter.
The shop looked like a typical blacksmithing shop, all around the side various weapons were stored, Lukas was able to see the various mainstream weapons like the swords and the bows, but there were several unconventional weapons like a sickle and hammers as well.
"E-excuse me mister, but we don't serve red names in our shop?" A small voice broke through Lukas's examination as Lukas looked over at the Thorld in surprise, he seemed a little on edge as he was standing a little bit away from his original position as if he was ready to bolt away.
Lukas raised his hands in a sign of peace as he walked back, he didn't want any trouble right now. Lukas slowly backed away and saw another older-looking Thorld walking out of the back room.
[Shurld Halsh Nock Lv 47]
'Yeah nope not looking for any trouble.' Lukas thought as he slowly walked out of the shop.
He walked away and thankfully no pedestrian was interested in pursuing him, he walked back to the main street and sighed in relief once he saw more humans walking around.
Lukas never expected to feel relieved when he saw another human but he guessed it was that kind of day.
'I won't jinx it, I won't jinx it...'
Lukas kept the thoughts that challenged the gods of fate away from his mind as he walked through the crowd, the effect of his red name was a lot lower now as he could see a couple more people with red names.
'Hmm self-defense or killers, I should keep an eye on them, maybe they got access to some more titles like my {Psychopath} title.' Lukas thought as he walked towards the gate.
He planned to go out the other gate and farm the neighbouring area but seeing that it was almost night time he had a plan. Lukas walked out of the gate and focused on his senses, he could feel a couple of people hiding in the bushes somewhat away from the gate.
He walked into the bushes himself, after a bit when he noticed none of the two people were moving he walked towards the one on the right. Beneath the tree, there was a middle-aged man sleeping. A bright red name was hovering over his head.
[Henrique Jorge Lv 3]
The man looked of European descent, Lukas looked at the man who was sleeping peacefully as he took his dagger out of his inventory. He used his dagger to pierce through the man's neck clearly severing his spine from his brain.
From the start to the end, the man didn't move as a notification appeared in front of Lukas.
...
[Killed Henrique Jorge Lv 3]
[Gain Exp +300]
...
Lukas looked at his level and noticed that he needed 30 more exp to level up, he looked down at the dead European and used [Devour]
...
'Nothing worth taking, this was a bust.' Lukas thought, except for some exp and a stat point killing Henrique wasn't worth much.
'It won't work like this I need a skill to look through someone's stats and see if they even have anything worth taking. At this rate, I won't get the required amount of TP if I keep killing the ones who are grinding' Lukas thought as he arrived in front of the second man.
'Oh, is he one of the officers, he looks a little American,' Lukas thought as he read the shining red name above him.
[Liam Travis Lv 3]
'Yup definitely American,' Lukas thought as he walked closer, he seemingly made a step as the blond opened his eyes.
'Uhh... surprise?'
