Chapter 1145 - Don’t You Agree?

Don't You Agree? . . .

Cha smiled, unfazed by the situation. He said, "That space extension was a unique skill that my master taught me. One should be at least level five of Dao Origin Stage to operate it. I think I have told you this before. Never mind. It's your decision to make after all. Do you want me to continue?"

Jun Yinglian humphed and said, "Go on then! I would love to hear what you know!"

"After I did the two things in the cave, deep inside the cave, I started to operate my energy to cure your wounds. Those were not severe wounds though. We were so powerful back then, and those little wounds were like nothing for us. If I didn't help you, it might take a long time, but you would still recover eventually.

"The wound on the right side of your waist was the most difficult one to deal with though. It was a needle wound. That needle attack should have caused the least effective wound on you. What we needed to do was to pull out the needle and force your blood to run over it. However, that needle hit a tricky position on you, and it was stricken out by the unique method of West Hall. Half your body was numb, and you couldn't turn yourself. Your hands couldn't reach the wound…" Cha said, "Because of the moral parclose between a man and a woman, you wouldn't let me touch you."

Jun Yinglian blushed, and then she humphed.

"A few days later, you didn't get well. Instead, your spiritual qi ran slower. That was when we found the chronic poison on that needle. It had been hurting your Jing and Mai after a few days inside your body. You wanted to return to your sect for treatment, but that was not possible.

"You and me, we both knew that the needle was a unique weapon of West Hall. If somebody saw the needle, what we did would be revealed!

"In the end, you decided to let me pull the needle for you."

Cha said, "A man and a lady… Of course, you were anxious. After all, the needle was in an embarrassing position on you…"

Jun Yinglian blushed and gritted with her teeth.

"When I was pulling the needle for you, I accidentally found… that below the wound, there were three red moles on your waist, like three stars in a row. That was interesting…" Cha looked at Jun Yinglian.

Jun Yinglian's face was completely red. She scolded, "You lecher! You shameless prick! What nonsense are you saying!"

Cha was surprised. He said, "I am just trying to prove myself. What I said is merely a part of the sweet memory we privately share. How was that shameless? Besides, you decided to let me pull the needle. Well, I was thinking of forcing you if you insisted not to let me… It was urgent, and I couldn't let you die…"

"Stop that! Go on with what happened next!" Jun Yinglian stamped. Her eyes were already red.

She was overwhelmed with mixed emotions at that moment, torn between joy and frustration.

Having dedicated herself to avenging a supposedly deceased man in the name of love and passion, she found herself in an awkward situation. The man she had mourned was alive. It left her in an embarrassing predicament, and she didn't know how to react. Her thoughts were muddled, and she felt like pouting, a rare display of vulnerability.

"I need to know why you're still alive! I won't accept cryptic explanations. I want all the details," she said, her voice growing increasingly distant as she struggled to maintain composure.

Jun Yinglian was on the verge of tears. However, Cha Eun Xiao murmured, "I... I don't know how it happened. I was surrounded, and rather than being captured or tortured, I chose to sacrifice myself along with my soul. I thought I was dead, but somehow, I woke up in a young man's body in a lower world beneath Qing-Yun Realm, the Land of Han-Yang. I can't explain it even now. I assume my shattered soul somehow reconstituted itself, but it's just a theory. Exploding one's soul... it's insane, and I never believed recovery was possible. Not that I don't want to explain it to you; it's just..."

Understanding his predicament, Jun Yinglian nodded inwardly, thinking, "It does sound reasonable. I wouldn't know how to explain it either."

However, Cha Eun Xiao continued, giggling, "I must have done many good deeds in a previous life, and perhaps I suffered greatly. It led to my ultimate demise and pain in my previous existence, causing hurt to you. I guess the heavens felt the need to compensate me by granting me a second chance, to reunite with you and spend my life together."

His words left Jun Yinglian blushing, unsure of how to respond. Before she could react, Cha Eun Xiao, with a mischievous grin, added, "I've saved countless worlds in a previous life and must have accumulated great karma. But I also lived as a lonely bachelor, failing you. The divine forces must have taken notice and granted me this second chance to be with you again, and to have you as my wife, perhaps even a couple of concubines... Life of a god, right?"

Jun Yinglian's frown deepened. She thought, "Concubines? What is he thinking? He hasn't even married me yet. How can he consider having concubines?"

Her lips quivered as she tried to maintain a façade of indifference. "I'm curious, how many concubines do you plan to have?" she asked in a seemingly detached tone.

Cha Eun Xiao, mistaking her response for acceptance, was elated. Believing that Jun Yinglian was open to the idea, he decided to be completely candid. He thought it was important to be honest with her, given their close relationship. With a hearty laugh, he said, "Well, to be honest, this is just a loose plan for the future. It's wonderful to meet you again, Lian Lian. I'm prepared to share every thought with you, to be completely open. I want to make amends for the past. Don't you agree? It's the right thing to do as a man, don't you think?"
