Can't Take the Risk! . . .
Li Wuliang couldn't hide his disdain for making promises under these circumstances. He huffed and expressed his reluctance. "Of course, you'd make me promise, wouldn't you? Just look at you, nagging away like an old woman. It's only been a year, and you've turned into quite the nag. Just look at that cherubic face of yours. What a playboy."
Ye Xiao stood firm, refusing to give in. "You're in a unique situation, and I'm not backing down. Just promise me you won't go out there. Going outside is essentially a death wish. I'd rather have you endure the pain alone here than send you out to meet your doom. Pretend that I never found you."
Li Wuliang wasn't happy about the arrangement and muttered, "You ruthless rascal! I won't forget how you're blackmailing me. One day, you'll pay for this. Fine, I promise I won't go out and get myself killed. Are you satisfied?"
He glanced around the small cave and sighed deeply, coming to terms with the fact that he'd have to remain in this hole for another year. It was strange how, despite enduring two years of torment, he was now reluctant to spend just one more year in this place. Humanity's desires and wants were indeed peculiar; they could be driven to remarkable courage and determination for the sake of survival but become unappreciative when saved from dire circumstances.
Li Wuliang then requested a few accommodations from Cha Eun Xiao. "You've taught me enough lessons. Now let me rest and promise me one thing."
Cha Eun Xiao agreed, "Go on. As long as it's within my capabilities."
Li Wuliang proceeded to list his requirements. "Enlarge the cave for me; it's too small. I need food, drinks, clothes..."
Cha Eun Xiao gave him a skeptical look and said in a mischievous tone, "Are you asking for some ladies too? You must be quite deprived after two years!"
Li Wuliang scoffed and replied, "No way! The women you find attractive wouldn't meet my standards. But everything else I mentioned, you'd better provide it all. Otherwise, I'll go to Jun Yinglian and spill the beans about you!"
Cha Eun Xiao was taken aback. "What? What did you say? Are you truly Fierce Blade? Maybe you've turned into Fierce Prick now. How did you become so shameless? I doubt anyone could be more shameless than you!"
Li Wuliang retorted angrily, "You! You get to live a carefree and leisurely life out there while I have to spend a year in this crappy hole. How dare you call me shameless!"
Cha Eun Xiao raised his hands in surrender. "Okay, you're not shameless. You're my boss. Satisfied now?"
Li Wuliang grumbled, "That's more like it..."
Three days later, Cha Eun Xiao stepped out of the cave, and Li Wuliang appeared lively. In fact, even when the dark power tormented him, he had a lively look. The cave didn't appear different from the outside, but inside, it had been transformed into a palace. It now extended dozens of meters in width and depth.
During the three days, the first day had been spent removing eighty percent of the two enormous powers from Li Wuliang's body. On the night of the first day, they shared food and drinks, talking and laughing. Cha Eun Xiao had stored a good amount of fine liquor inside the Space, but the two of them had consumed it all over the course of two days.
The remaining ten jars of liquor were left for Li Wuliang. On the fourth day, Cha Eun Xiao left the precipice for a full day. The next day, he returned with two space rings for Li Wuliang, filled with an abundance of food, meat, liquor, as well as medical materials and dan beads.
Finally, on the sixth day, Cha Eun Xiao had to leave the place.
"I have to go, Li!" Cha Eun Xiao smiled.
"Get out of here already!" Li Wuliang laughed. "You've been staying here for too long. The cave can't endure your playboy face... Hahaha."
Their banter continued as they exchanged laughter. Cha Eun Xiao chuckled and then soared out of the cave, his form disappearing like a shooting star. He leaped onto the snowy landscape outside the cave and vanished from sight.
"Li, I'll be back in a few months."
"Screw you!" Li Wuliang replied, the last words exchanged.
Cha Eun Xiao had departed, and Li Wuliang still wore his casual, amused expression. However, as time passed, his smile gradually faded. He almost shed a tear but quickly composed himself. He coughed lightly and muttered, "Damn it. Just a few days with that pretty playboy... and I feel like I'm getting a bit soft. I won't forget this. You'll pay for this. I'm going to kick your ass next time."
Wiping his eyes, he took a deep breath and strode out of the cave. Gazing at the snowy expanse in the valley, he looked up at the towering mountains that seemed to reach the sky. A warm smile graced his face, and he whispered, "Brother..."
He turned his attention to his Fierce Sword, and his gaze turned steely. The cyan blade emitted a sharp glow.
"Rest assured, my dear. It won't be long now. You'll soon be sated with the blood of my enemies!"
Cha Eun Xiao didn't return to the mountain via the path he used to descend to the precipice. Instead, he took a different route and blocked access to the cave.
Sky Soul Precipice was no longer a deadly place for people, now that he had found Li Wuliang. Previously, he had maintained the fissure, as it was an ideal spot for a surprise attack. Approaching from below the cliff would catch anyone off guard. After the sect members of Saint Sunlight Sect had been slain by Jun Yinglian, their sect would undoubtedly dispatch more guards to this location.
The individuals they sent would be far from weak. Some might even be powerful enough to take on Jun Yinglian. Cha Eun Xiao could remain hidden under the cover of the fissure and execute stealthy assassinations.
While he might not be strong enough to take on high-level cultivators, he could discreetly eliminate lower-level cultivators. Additionally, with a bit of luck, he might succeed in dispatching a few elite cultivators using the fissure.
However, with Li Wuliang cultivating within the cave, Cha Eun Xiao decided to block access to the cave. His brother's safety was paramount. He couldn't risk anyone discovering the fissure, especially individuals from the Saint Sunlight Sect.
