Take You Out . . .
Cha Eun Xiao, the leader of Sunlight Sect, found himself in a hurry as he diligently penned down the inquests, carefully tucking them into a satchel. Simultaneously, he and his followers continued to burn incense with great fervor, engaging in a sacred ritual.
After a brief passage of time, the satchel mysteriously vanished, leading Cha Eun Xiao to exclaim, "Shoot!" The sudden disappearance left everyone present in a state of astonishment.
"Our grand ancestral master, Cha Nantian, now resides among the gods. He undoubtedly possesses extraordinary abilities that exceed our comprehension. While we may be awed by what we have witnessed, it is only a trifling skill in the eyes of our grand ancestral master," Cha Eun Xiao solemnly articulated. "Regardless of its miraculous nature, it is well within the realm of expectation for our ancestral master."
Meanwhile, in the Starlight Sect, a similar, almost magical event unfolded. However, instead of a satchel, they received a sword.
...
Had Wan Zhenghao been aware of the actions undertaken by these two sects, he would have been taken aback. He might have thought, "I am not alone in this world. Even they resort to burning incense and offering prayers in times of trouble, much like I did."
Eventually, when both of these great sects received their responses, they were filled with a sense of relief. All negative emotions dissipated.
Their only remaining task was to await their ancestral masters' orders to send individuals to eliminate Feng Zhiling. With unwavering resolve, Sunlight Sect and Starlight Sect pledged to endure eternally in the Land of Han-Yang.
...
On a different note, Cha Eun Xiao, too, felt a sense of relief. He had successfully crafted an ample supply of Heaven Seizing Supreme Dan beads. Furthermore, he had produced a surplus of Agerasia Dan beads, despite the substantial cost incurred.
Lately, Cha Eun Xiao had been indulging in a period of leisure. His daily routine consisted of visits to Ling-Bao Hall, albeit for brief intervals, followed by returning home to spend time with Bing-Er. He was utterly captivated by a particular sport.
However, one peculiar observation left Cha Eun Xiao perplexed. After Bing-Er consumed the Agerasia Dan, she became even more breathtakingly beautiful, yet her affections seemed to be gradually cooling.
Cha Eun Xiao couldn't fathom why this was happening. He wondered, "What could be amiss? Bing-Er is not practicing any martial arts with a coldness attribute. Why is she becoming increasingly distant?"
...
Hence, Cha Eun Xiao resolved to periodically bring Bing-Er to Ling-Bao Hall. In his heart, Bing-Er was the person he trusted above all others, and he believed it was essential for her to gain insight into his world. He wished for her to accompany him on his journey and potentially serve as a capable assistant, given her earlier display of intelligence.
The sooner he initiated this, the sooner he would succeed. While he couldn't reveal his dual identity as both Cha Eun Xiao and Feng Zhiling, Bing-Er, on the other hand, was someone he could wholeheartedly confide in.
It was a step that he knew he must take, sooner or later.
One morning, Cha Eun Xiao secretly took Bing-Er with him to Ling-Bao Hall.
In this revised version of the passage, Song Jue found himself in a state of disbelief, as he perceived Cha Eun Xiao's actions. Song Jue couldn't help but think that Cha Eun Xiao was taking Bing-Er out for amusement. He decided to inquire about it but did so with a sense of indifference.
"These young individuals are truly absurd," he remarked with a shake of his head. "With such intelligence and quick thinking, why not spend more time expanding their knowledge? They've been gallivanting around all day, and while at home, they are constantly in the company of a woman. And now, they're taking her out for entertainment. It's unbelievable how the world has changed."
Song Jue let out a sigh and continued, "I had hoped that the young one would become more sensible, especially now that he has grown stronger. Unfortunately, it appears that not much has changed, except for his increased strength. It's frustrating." He sighed again and then proceeded to move around the house, engaging in the practice of the blood guards.
In Song Jue's mind, Cha Eun Xiao's visits to brothels for amusement were not a significant concern. He believed it to be a normal activity that all men indulged in. However, he believed it was inappropriate to constantly stay in the company of a woman at home, which left him somewhat speechless.
But in the end, Cha Eun Xiao was just a steward who earned his living from the Cha's household, and Song Jue felt there was little he could do to discipline his nephew.
"He saved me, restored my promising future, and helped me regain my cultivation. How could I possibly reprimand him?" Song Jue pondered, feeling conflicted.
"That's not right..." he mused.
When Cha Eun Xiao and Bing-Er arrived at a secluded location, Bing-Er observed Cha Eun Xiao touching his own face, and then his bones began to make cracking sounds. After a while, he had transformed into someone else entirely. Bing-Er was utterly shocked, her astonishment clear.
"Is this... magic?" she wondered. "You've actually transformed into someone else?"
Her surprise soon turned into admiration. "Master, you're so skilled and extraordinary! Can you perform magic to conjure up a rabbit, one that's as white as snow? I'd love to have one..."
Cha Eun Xiao was at a loss for words.
"Skilled? Extraordinary?" he thought. "You're praising me too much... Magic? A rabbit as white as snow? That's a bit too much. Do you really want it? Why the sudden coquettishness? What's going on? Is this a mistake?"
Suddenly, a rather inappropriate thought crossed his mind. "Well, perhaps I don't need to conjure anything... White rabbits, like snowballs... There are exactly two of them on your chest, and I wouldn't mind having them now."
He cringed at his own thoughts. When a girl made such remarks, it might be seen as cute, but from a man, it was repulsive.
"Heh, heh," he awkwardly chuckled. "It's just a disguise art, a skill that I've mastered at a higher level. Bing-Er, you can do it too. It's relatively simple if you understand the method." Cha Eun Xiao explained earnestly, behaving like a peculiar middle-aged man trying to amuse a young girl.
In truth, he secretly wanted to see the expression of pain on Bing-Er's face when she attempted to transform her appearance and crack her bones, as it could be a painful process. He expected her to moan with tears in her eyes, making her even more beautiful in his eyes.
However, what happened next left him astounded. Bing-Er followed his instructions to manipulate the energy and began the process of changing her appearance. To Cha Eun Xiao's shock, her bones cracked and she transformed without making a sound. There was no pain on her face, let alone tears.
"What on earth is going on?" Cha Eun Xiao wondered, utterly bewildered.
