Long Story! . . .
"Feng Monarch, if I'm fortunate, perhaps we can meet again in the Qing-Yun Realm one day," Bing Xinyue expressed as she turned away, her garments billowing in the wind. "When you ascend to the Qing-Yun Realm, we can discuss our promise... If fate permits. If not, it doesn't matter."
Without waiting for Cha Eun Xiao's response, she departed. Within seconds, she had disappeared into the sky.
Cha Eun Xiao's thoughts flowed as he watched her depart.
"I'm relieved that you've made it through this crisis," he pondered. "There's no need to worry anymore. After this crisis, there will likely be no one left in this world who can threaten you. Chuchu and I may never see your true face, but I won't wait."
He concluded, "Let destiny decide. If we're meant to meet again, we will. If not, it's not our destiny."
Bing Xinyue's attire fluttered in the wind as she receded into the distance without looking back.
Just before she vanished from his sight, Cha Eun Xiao couldn't resist whispering, "Take care. We'll meet again in the Qing-Yun Realm."
Bing Xinyue heard his words, and her reaction was immediate. She accelerated and vanished from sight.
Watching her departure, Cha Eun Xiao experienced a twinge of melancholy and an unfamiliar sensation in his heart. He seemed to sense a mixture of sorrow and reluctance.
Shaking his head and sighing inwardly, he questioned the appropriateness of the promise he had just made. Was it the right thing to do at this moment? Should he have committed to it?
With those thoughts, he too disappeared from the scene.
In the House of Cha, he had discarded his disguise and returned home. As he approached, he noticed a series of sword qi surging into the sky and the peculiar sounds of Song Jue exclaiming.
"What's happening?" he wondered.
Song Jue's exclamations grew more animated as he questioned the inexplicable situation.
"This is impossible, unbelievable, incredible... absurd."
Cha Eun Xiao's curiosity was piqued, and he quickened his pace to investigate.
As he arrived, he was utterly flabbergasted.
Bing-Er was engaged in a battle with Song Jue, and the shock lay not in the fact that they were fighting but that they appeared evenly matched, with Bing-Er even holding a slightly superior position.
After just a few days, Cha Eun Xiao noticed a significant improvement in Song Jue. In fact, Song Jue had made an impressive recovery, nearly regaining his previous formidable strength. He had transcended the cultivation limitations of their realm and was now in the Spirit Origin Stage, close to reaching the Dream Origin Stage. It wouldn't be long before he fully restored his Dream Origin Stage prowess.
During his sparring match with Bing-Er, Song Jue had intentionally restrained his true power. However, this strategy had turned out to be unwise. He had underestimated Bing-Er's abilities and repeatedly made incorrect judgments regarding the level of power to use.
"Wrong again. This can't be! What's happening!"
"She's a monster! She becomes stronger the longer she fights..."
"Oops... wrong again..."
Song Jue found himself constantly dodging Bing-Er's relentless attacks, struggling to keep up with her. It was evident that he was losing the battle.
Cha Eun Xiao, with his mouth agape in astonishment, couldn't believe what he was witnessing.
"How is this possible? Bing-Er is outperforming Song Jue in a fight?" Cha Eun Xiao pondered. Song Jue was an experienced fighter who had almost fully recovered his peak strength. He possessed a wealth of battle experience and a wide array of skills. In contrast, Bing-Er had only been training for a few days and had minimal fighting experience. She should never have surpassed him in a fight. It defied all logic.
Bing-Er's swordsmanship was extraordinary. Although Cha Eun Xiao had taught her some sword techniques, her current moves were far beyond what he had shown her. She had improved her swordsmanship on her own.
Cha Eun Xiao was left stupefied by the situation.
"Master!" Bing-Er exclaimed and immediately ceased her battle when she noticed Cha Eun Xiao's arrival. She left the combat area and approached him, appearing eager to run into his arms.
As she neared and Cha Eun Xiao extended his arms to embrace her, she suddenly stopped and blushed. She gazed at him with affectionate eyes and said, "You've returned..."
Cha Eun Xiao, with his arms outstretched and baffled by her sudden halt, replied, "Yes, I'm back. Girl, why did you stop? Why don't you come and hug me?"
Bing-Er blushed and retorted, "Physical contact should be avoided between a man and a woman, Master. You should be aware of that. I thought you were."
Cha Eun Xiao found himself blushing, a rare occurrence for him. He felt like shedding tears.
"Goodness, I must have taught her too well. She's learned so fast," he thought, "One always reaps what they sow."
"A month ago, she'd rush into my bed naked, but now she won't even hug me..."
Song Jue was astonished. He approached Bing-Er with a baffled expression. "Xiaoxiao, this girl... Is she some kind of monster?"
Bing-Er raised an eyebrow and replied, "Uncle Song, what are you talking about? You're the monster here!"
Song Jue sighed and admitted, "I wish I were the monster! But I'm not good enough to be one."
Cha Eun Xiao interjected, "Uncle Song, can you explain what's going on here? Why were you two engaged in such an intense battle?"
Song Jue sighed again, looking quite dejected. "It's a long story..."
