Two Possible Methods . . .
Zhao Pingtian remained on his knees, immobile and resolute. His unwavering devotion to the request he was about to make was palpable in his words. "Feng Monarch, please don't regard this as a mere favor. If you can grant me the chance to see Rou-Er, I pledge my life to your service."
Cha Eun Xiao drew in a deep breath, his brows furrowing as he considered the predicament. He then replied, "I must confess, my ability to see Rou-Er is not due to any special martial art but rather a natural talent. Currently, I lack the knowledge of how to enable you to see her, but I promise I will exert every effort to find a way. Please, rise. This endeavor will not be easy. The separation of Yin and Yang, two distinct worlds, is an unalterable law of nature. Yet, since I can perceive her, there must be a solution. We must search for it together, but it will require time."
Gesturing to emphasize his point, he continued, "If your desire to reunite with her is truly profound, then I cannot simply turn you away. I require some time to devise a plan. Rou-Er has existed in this manner for many years without vanishing. This is a sign of hope for your eventual reunion. Although I have no concrete plan at the moment, with diligence, we may discover a way to bring her back to the real world, to stand upon the earth once more."
Cha Eun Xiao paused in his explanation. Zhao Pingtian comprehended the unspoken intent behind his words. Cha Eun Xiao wasn't rejecting his plea; instead, he was offering genuine assistance. This realization filled Zhao Pingtian with renewed hope.
Suddenly, Zhao Pingtian prostrated himself on the floor without invoking any protective techniques. His forehead made contact with the floor, blood oozing from the impact.
"Feng Monarch, I implore you!"
Kneeling in complete submission, his head bowed to the ground. There was no intention of rising.
This man, once known for his indomitable pride and status as the assassin king, was now entirely dedicated to his plea. He would willingly descend to the lowest depths of servitude if it meant the opportunity to see Rou-Er once more.
"I will relinquish everything for that chance!"
"Even if it requires my life!"
Cha Eun Xiao, growing increasingly perplexed by Zhao Pingtian's unyielding stance, couldn't fathom why the man remained so obstinate despite his earnest explanations. He questioned Zhao Pingtian once more, his voice taking on a softer tone, "Zhao Pingtian, please, do get up. There's a certain dignity a man should uphold. Surrendering it in this manner won't aid our cause. You must act as a man, a warrior with resolve. Rise. Moreover, remember that while your unwavering determination is admirable, it is not only you who's suffering. Look at Rou-Er; she kneels beside you, sharing in your ordeal. Do you truly wish her to endure this hardship? Must you be so resolute that even she is compelled to share in your burden?"
Cha Eun Xiao recognized that words alone might no longer persuade Zhao Pingtian. He decided to employ the one thing he knew could reach his heart—love.
At the mention of "Rou-Er," Zhao Pingtian became bewildered, his gaze scanning their surroundings in confusion. The girl concealed within the gray fog directed her sorrowful eyes toward him, silently imploring his comprehension.
With a deep sigh, Cha Eun Xiao urged Zhao Pingtian to rise, reaffirming his commitment, "Zhao Pingtian, stand up, and Lady Rou-Er, please do the same. I've pledged to do everything within my power to assist you. However, solving this predicament will require time and effort. It pertains to the complex interplay between the two worlds of Yin and Yang, and such matters do not yield easy solutions."
Zhao Pingtian settled opposite Cha Eun Xiao, his eyes reflecting a mixture of trust and eagerness. The girl, too, gazed upon Cha Eun Xiao with expectant eyes, fully aware that their hope hinged on him.
Cha Eun Xiao hesitated. This was no ordinary decision; it meant challenging the very laws of nature, a daunting and potentially perilous endeavor. He warned, "Brother Zhao, understand that we are endeavoring to circumvent the laws of nature, a task fraught with peril. The odds of success are exceedingly slim."
Zhao Pingtian, invigorated by the mere notion of a possible solution, was unfazed by the danger and clung to the idea of hope. He exclaimed, "As long as there's a chance, I'll seize it!"
Cha Eun Xiao continued, "There exist two possible methods, two paths to resolve your situation." However, he remained silent, contemplating the magnitude of these methods. Both were fraught with danger, akin to ascending to the heavens. Each path would expose them to substantial risks.
Zhao Pingtian, unfazed by the dangers implied, was elated. "Two methods! That's an incredible breakthrough! As long as there's a chance, I'll embrace it!"
"The first method," Cha Eun Xiao began, "is the safer route, which entails lower risks. It involves using a mysterious technique to weaken her spirit, followed by the utilization of nine Supreme Soul Protection Dan beads to safeguard her spirit. Once these preparations are in place, we will facilitate her reincarnation. In a few years, you will be reunited with her. However, it's essential to understand that she will retain her current soul but will be reborn with a new appearance, a facet over which we have no control. The divine hand of fate will shape her new visage."
Continuing his explanation, he elaborated on the prerequisites and potential obstacles, "While this method offers enhanced security, certain conditions must be met. First, we require a superior cultivator at or beyond the fifth stage of Dao Origin. This individual will need to employ their spiritual prowess to guide her through the transmigration process. The swiftness of her rebirth will ensure the retention of her memories from this lifetime."
He delved into the specific challenges they might encounter, "This approach faces three significant hurdles. The first is acquiring the necessary Supreme Soul Protection Dan, a challenge I can personally overcome. The second difficulty revolves around finding a Dao Origin cultivator willing to assist us. Unfortunately, there are none to be found within the confines of the Land of Han-Yang. We may need to venture into the higher realms to enlist the help we require. The third and most formidable obstacle lies in the fact that this method, while offering maximum safety for Rou-Er, will trigger a divine thunder punishment upon the superior cultivator who aids us. Such an individual may forfeit more than half of their cultivation prowess as a result of violating the Yin and Yang cosmic laws. It is unlikely that any Dao Origin cultivator would be eager to help unless extenuating circumstances compel them to do so."
With a solemn tone, Cha Eun Xiao concluded, "If this method fails, Rou-Er's spirit and soul will be lost, and the assisting cultivator will meet a similar fate, with their soul extinguished."
Zhao Pingtian, grappling with the gravity of the situation, inquired about the term "Dao Origin Stage." He sought clarification, "Could you please explain what a Dao Origin Stage cultivator is? Is it a higher stage beyond the Sky Origin Stage?"
