I run fast through the wind, almost breaking through the sound barrier.
Almost.
While my body is durable enough to endure the pressure, my clothes should be not, that's why although I run with all my might, I still keep it in under control lest my clothes will rip apart.
I should try to buy some clothes that are quite durable later if I can't get one from the System.
As I run quickly through the town, I arrived at my destination, from the center of the town to the southwestern end of Mahoraga Town in less than 3 minutes.
The scenery I see in that place is quite tragic, fire and smoke is everywhere.
Fortunately there is not much building around here as this location seems to be close to the outskirts of the town, near the wilderness.
There are only an empty street and three to four houses around here.
I don't know where the people living around this place are, maybe they all have already run away from this place?
But amidst the chaotic albeit silent scenery filled with smoke and fire, suddenly I see a dragon that was flying low in the sky looking left and right as if it is searching for something when the explosion occurred.
*Blaaaarrrrrrr!!!!*
The dragon is suddenly blasted away by a light beam that is shot from the ground.
*Ka boooommmmmm!!!!!*
It is then fall from the sky and thrown away for about 10 meters on the ground.
I quickly go to the source of the light beam.
And, bingo!
There I see them.
A black haired beauty is holding another beauty with blonde hair in her embrace.
The black haired girl have a tyrannical aura surging out from her body, her beautiful face showing a fierce expression.
But even though her facial expression is so fierce like Goddess Durga who tries to ends the world.
I can see that she is embracing a blonde haired girl who seems to be unconscious and heavily injured fully with gentleness.
Looking at those pair of beauties, I immediately know who they are.
They are both the Protagonists of an anime, manga and novel titled Yurihana no Miko (Shrine Maidens of the Lily Flowers).
The unconscious golden haired beauty's name is Himemiya Kiseki.
She is a girl who comes from an ancient nobility family, the Himemiya Clan.
Meanwhile the black haired beauty who have a tyrannical aura covering her body but embracing the blonde beauty in a gentleness is named Saegusa Chikane.
She is a rich girl who hails from the super conglomerate Saegusa Family.
I remember the plot of this series very much, even though the anime, manga and novel each have slightly different plots.
Yurihana no Miko (Shrine Maidens of the Lily Flowers) is a story about two high school girls who are so close to each other like a real sister.
Both of them will awakens their bloodline power after they are being attacked by an Air Elemental Dragon on their sweet seventeen birthday.
Kiseki have the bloodline of a Golden Celestial Fox while Chikane have the bloodline of a Sacred Heavenly Dragon.
As for the Air Elemental Dragon that attacked them?
It will be turned out that it is only one part of the Final Boss of the Series, Orochi the Blasphemous Immortal Serpent.
As the girls keeps being attacked by the different kinds of dragon one by one, slowly but surely they both will develop feelings to each other as they endure their hardships together.
Until the eighth dragon is defeated and Orochi the Blasphemous Immortal Serpent has finally awakened and arise from its sealed slumber after it absorbed the souls of all eight previous dragons.
In the anime that spans in only a single season with 13 episodes, Chikane will ends up sacrificing herself to power up Kiseki before they managed to defeat the Immortal Orochi and sealed it back to its slumber in a hidden dimension behind the moon.
Whereas in the manga that only contains 3 volumes, it's Kiseki who will sacrifice herself so that her beloved Chikane can destroy Orochi's body wholly and force its weakened soul to slumber in the Realm between Life and Death until it can gather enough negative emotions from sentient beings in the world to resurrect again in around eight thousand years later.

I made it all up.
But if you want to know from where I draw the inspiration, it is from the anime & manga titled Kannazuki no Miko (Shrine Maidens of the Godless Month) that spanned in one season of anime and two volume of manga.
There is also another anime that becomes my source of inspiration, that is Shattered Angels made by the same author.
Both of them are Yuri anime though, so don't watch or read them if you're allergic of seeing two girls hugging and kissing each others :)
