Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 : Hospital

"Fucking hell, I hate you, bitch. Stop this jutsu, right now."

As I was using my talent in curses, Kurenai did the same by using her talent in genjutsu, "Come on Kyudo, this is just a normal D-rank. You only need to keep that in mind. Genjutsu : Touch manipulation."

I grit my teeth and experience the feeling of being licked all over my body. Every inch of skin without exception.

The sheer disgust I feel is unimaginable. Because this is a feeling similar to her Snake Genjutsu. So, no matter how much I imagine it otherwise, the thought of snakes is coming to my head.

Fuck genjutsu, Fuck Kurenai. Fuck Itachi. Fuck Shusui. Fuck Obito, Fuck Madara. Fuck Zetsu.

"Fuck, Fuck."

Kurenai, a 6-year-old, is taking my curse as expected- with sheer disgust. "What foul language!"

"AHHHH! It fucking hurts."

Bitch, just because your dad is skilled enough to use various genjutsu on you and the fact you think it is normal is not my fault.

I am normal.

TING

[Data gathering completed.]

[Genjutsu : Genjutsu literally means using illusions.

The host's chakra is used to transmit deceptive information into the opponent's chakra network, resulting in the manifestation of illusions.

By honing their skill in illusions and knowledge about them, users can optimize the transmission of information with minimal chakra expenditure, resulting in heightened power and lifelikeness of the illusion.]

Chakra usage is not the important thing in Genjutsu, it is rather the use of it effectively.

Each minute detail must be considered and imagined when sending the illusion to the opponent's chakra.

Thankfully, I have an AI to manufacture a realistic illusion.

I have to thank Kurenai for giving me this opportunity to collect data.

So, I looked at Kurenai, who is looking through my notes on all the theory subjects I made.

What can I say? I am a nerdy doctor. Even better, I am an Otaku, as my maths teacher in school used to say, Hence proved.

-------------

Despite his previous behavior of throwing deadly weapons during my entrance tests, Sebei Yamata, our chunin teacher in the academy, began instructing us on the three fundamental jutsu rather peacefully.

But I have a piece of good news. I didn't wet my pants that day. But I wonder who did.

Anyway, Teacher Sebei covered everything from the chakra applications to the hand seals required to perform the 3 jutsu.

It was during these lessons that I realized the underlying reason behind these jutsu.

The Clone Jutsu requires chakra, awareness, and multitasking. Mastering it helps shinobi learn genjutsu and chakra shaping.

The Substitution Jutsu is in fact a quick use of chakra to create a decoy using a log. This technique boosts speed and agility briefly, like a basic version of the Body Flicker Jutsu.

Lastly, there is the Transformation Jutsu, which involves wearing chakra like a clock to take on the appearance of the user's wishes.

Overall, the Academy 3 provides a perfect foundation for Ninjutsu practice.

It was during these lessons that I noticed a sad thing; I had the least amount of chakra among my peers, similar to Sakura in the canon. This realization made me focus even more on chakra control and efficient jutsu usage because I must make use of the

After all, mastering these basic techniques was the foundation for any ninja.

--------------

My dedication to mastering the Leaf exercise remained unwavering because of the bruised ego from being at the tail end of the class.

I must say it will be a challenging journey, filled with countless hours of practice, but I was determined to reach that perfect score of 1000 out of 1000.

After relentless training and countless failed attempts, there came a day when I finally achieved a perfect score.

I felt an indescribable sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as I watched the leaves respond flawlessly to my chakra control.

It was like I added a minute to Hard-on time.

With the Leaf exercise mastered, I decided it was time to step on the most suitable path for me- The Konoha Hospital.

-----------------------------

I soon visited Kinshiro Yusuke, the med-in who healed me daily under the matron's request.

"Get lost, little Kyudo. I am busy right now."

Despite several rejections, my determination to become an apprentice medical ninja at the hospital remained unwavering, like a virgin on the verge of being a man.

I knew this path was the best for me. Med-nin status allows access to massive amounts of data regarding chakra's application on the body.

It all changed one fateful day when an opportunity presented itself.

"Are you dumb or lazy? Can't you recognise this case? Oh no, it can't be. I realize it now. You guys are the patients of an even worse case. A combination of dumb and lazy. "

A patient in the outpatient ward exhibited symptoms that were put in front of the 8–16-year-old apprentices in there.

Sigh! It is such a familiar scene. It is like my intern days, 36 hrs of work shift. All provided with depression, less pay, and a butt load of insults.

Looking at the patient, I knew what was wrong. "This is tuberculosis," I said confidently, trying to prove myself to the pale imitation of my first life mentor. Ah! I wanted to kill that guy if I remember it right.

Yusuke looked surprised. "Are you sure?" he asked, sounding doubtful. Even though it was the right answer, I am far too familiar with this kind of tactic from teachers.

"Yes, because of the symptoms and tests," I explained, trying to sound clear and sure.

Yusuke leaned closer, asking more questions, becoming more excited. "What signs should we watch for? How do we know it's TB and not something else?"

I took a breath and remembered what I learned. "TB shows with a cough that won't go away, chest pain, and coughing up blood. We need tests to be sure it's TB and not another lung problem."

Yusuke seemed impressed. "And what's the treatment plan?"

I explained confidently, "We use antibiotics like isoniazid, rifampin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol for months, and then we make sure the TB is gone. Of course, if the patient is rich enough or is our shinobi affiliated, then we can treat them with our mystic palm right now."

Yusuke nodded, showing his agreement. "Impressive, kid. Now, tell me about this patient?"

As he fired a barrage of questions and scenarios at me, I could feel the claustrophobic sensation of losing my anonymity, even though I thought I was prepared for this.

Becoming an apprentice medic ninja at 5 meant making myself famous to Konoha at large.

It was something that would give me a cursed title in Konoha-A genius.

Despite the last-minute hesitation, I pushed through. I would have to take part in the war. I don't have the luxury of being anonymous. Because My speed of growth is not enough to just stay anonymous. So, with support from Konoha Hospital, I can progress faster and be safe.

The political influence of a life-saving institution like a hospital in a Shinobi village is beyond imagination.

So, I answered to the best of my ability. With each answer, Yusuke's excitement grew.

I looked at him, wondering if he was Orochimaru in disguise.

-----Interview------

Finally, the moment arrived when I stood before the head of the hospital, my future as an apprentice medical ninja hanging in the balance.

Yusuke, impressed by my knowledge and skills, had recommended me for this opportunity.

I even collected rumours about this guy during the Pizza stall.

AI put up his profile.

[Author's note:

The next part of the chapter is to show that Kyudo is making profiles on everyone using even the smallest gossip and cross-referencing them.

- P.S.: This next part of the chapter is info-heavy. So skip it, if you are a light reader. It is not much use for Plot.]

[Name: Dr. Hiroshi Tanaka

Dr. Hiroshi Tanaka is one of the most skilled medics in the village.

As the head of the hospital in Konoha, Dr. Tanaka oversees all medical operations and plays a pivotal role in training the next generation of medical ninjas.

He values excellence in medical jutsu and is always on the lookout for talented individuals who can contribute to the village's healthcare system.

Especially after Tsunade Senju seems to stop visiting the hospital after Nawako Senju's death.]

Dr. Tanaka welcomed me warmly, a friendly smile playing on his lips as he leaned in a bit, clearly eager to get started. "Little Kyudo, it's great to have you are here. I've heard you're interested in becoming an apprentice medical ninja. Let's start with some questions."

I nodded, feeling a surge of enthusiasm. " Dr. Tanaka."

As he began with his first question, I leaned forward slightly, my brows furrowing as I focused on his words. "Can you explain the structure and function of the human heart?"

Dr. Tanaka's interest was palpable, making me feel even more motivated.

I leaned back a bit, adopting a more relaxed posture as I launched into my explanation, my hands gesturing to emphasize the heart's structure. "Sure thing, Doc," I said with a confident grin. "The heart's the powerhouse of the body, right?" I held up two fingers to illustrate the atria and ventricles. "It's got four chambers: two atria and two ventricles. Atria get blood in, ventricles pump it out."

Leaning forward again, I emphasized the heart's vital role.

"Its job is to circulate oxygen-rich blood to the body and get the deoxygenated stuff back to the lungs."

Dr. Tanaka nodded with approval, a smile tugging at his lips. "Good job. Now, let's shift to pharmacology," he said, folding his hands together thoughtfully.

Throughout our conversation, I could feel the rapport building between us, and our body language mirrored our engagement and mutual respect.

The natural flow of our conversation and lively gestures made it an enjoyable viva. But, it became awkward when asked me if I understood sex, since I am a child.

I just told him I read Icha-Icha as a referral.

"Good book, especially the illustrations."

-----------After interview-------

Dr. Tanaka leaned forward, his gaze fixed on me with genuine curiosity. "Why do you want to be a medical ninja, and why the hospital?" he inquired, his expression a blend of interest and encouragement.

I took a moment to gather my thoughts, leaning in earnestly as I responded. It's better to not lie in a shinobi village. The enemies will take care of the lying part of shinobi's life.

The one thing that Naruto anime shown me is that Shinobi, even if disdains honesty professionally, likes it the most. I don't need to say who I am talking about, right? I hope so because it is rather obvious.

"Becoming a med ninja isn't just about me helping our village and the people in it, the hospitals where I can put my skills to use, healing folks and giving them hope." I gestured toward the hospital building as if encompassing its significance. I genuinely like this part of the job, "But it is not the only reason."

Dr. Tanaka's smile grew warmer, and his eyes held the unsaid to continue.

"I am an orphan, sir. I felt that I would have a better future with the Medic Nin path. Especially in growing stronger as I am of a civilian heritage ninja."

Dr. Tanak frowned at that and said, "I will tell you this, Kyudo Kirito. You have incredible talent on the Medical side. You should focus on it. Not on the violent side of our profession."

It made me remind myself of the incident that sealed it for me to pursue strength as a combatant, " I once found an old map of Land of Fire, doc. Dated 100 years back."

The lifting of his eyebrows told me to continue.

"When I saw it, I found their mountains in the place where Konoha exists now. The forests, and rivers, even the valleys are not littered all over like now. When I continued searching these maps, I found the land of fire changed from the birth and death of two men's violence- Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju."

It differed from watching an anime when the sheer incredible fact they remade an entire country, whose land occupies most of the central continent, is fucking scary.

"So, I rather not ignore the reality, sir. There are monsters in this world, they didn't go away. The S ranks, another common usage name, made me realize it- Army killers. Even among my class, Kakashi has rumours surrounding him about being an S Rank in the future. I have the confidence to do the same."

"Kirito, I like your honesty," he praised, his voice filled with satisfaction. "I can't force your choices, but I'm pleased to say you've aced this interview. Welcome to the hospital as an apprentice medical ninja. We'll start your training right away."

Joy welled up in me, as a sexy future filled with seductive data appeared in front of me and I couldn't contain my excitement.

It was the right decision, to tell the truth.

"Thank you so much, Dr. Tanaka," I said, my voice sincere and thankful be. "I'm honoured and ready to learn from the best here."

The first rule of work is, Flatter the boss/teacher to the sky and into the beyond. The more obvious it is, the better.

[Genjutsu: Illusions. They are formed by sending the host chakra into the opponent's chakra and then sending false information through it. The better the talent or more experienced the user in illusions, the better they will be at sending more detailed information with less chakra.

D-rank Genjutsu: Basic illusions with low chakra consumption, typically affecting one sense. Relatively easy to break free from with will power or identifying the illusion.-100-1000 units

C-rank Genjutsu: More complex illusions, moderate chakra usage, capable of affecting multiple senses. Suitable for stealthy missions.-1000-10000.

B-rank Genjutsu: Advanced illusions that heavily affect all senses, requiring a significant amount of chakra. Escaping these illusions demands strong Genjutsu knowledge. 5000 units or greater

A-rank Genjutsu: High-level illusions that drain a substantial amount of chakra, manipulating the target's mind extensively. Breaking free from them is challenging and requires exceptional Genjutsu abilities, chakra and will. 10000 units or greater

S-rank GenjutsuA legend in the world. Top-tier illusions, consume a vast amount of chakra and manipulate the target's mind in profound ways. Escaping S-rank Genjutsu is exceptionally difficult and often requires specialized Genjutsu-dispelling techniques or help by allies.

It is said to manipulate the sense of being of a person, even to the extent of controlling their time. Some extreme legends say of illusions that can turn real, even change reality or control it.]
