"That is the common reaction from a lady when there is an intruder," Bastian argued. He lifted Camelia's upper body while Rivienne pretended to carry her lifeless legs. Bastian fumed. "You are not helping!"
Rivienne picked up both Camelia's legs. Bastian carefully placed Camelia's head on the pillow, and Rivienne tossed her legs. "And that is what I was doing. She was intruding on me," Rivienne said.
Bastian had one of his usual five-second heart attacks since Rivienne was loud, and Camelia groaned in her sleep. When she settled in her slumber, Bastian walked far away from her.
He picked up the towel, quills, and the book Rivienne tossed away. It hadn't even been an hour without Neja, and the room had already become a jungle.
"Is Silly dead?" Rivienne asked again from Bastian.
"I saw the cut. Northern duke blocked the killer, but it is hard to imagine him living." Bastian placed the things he picked up on the table and sat down.
