The fairy tale said that the dream eater would eat the girl's nightmare to diminish his hunger. He would have his heart content and spend another night without struggling to keep up with the starving. Every night, he would come to the girl's room and enjoy his supper until the apex, where he fell in love with the dreaming girl. Then, the story goes down to hell.
Nobody talked about the dreaming girl. Thus, Rivienne imagined her like this. When the dream eater ate her dreams, she would forget what she saw and felt. Her shades and blacks went hiding, and she would not suffer from their memories. There would not be a killing headache.
When Rivienne woke up, as if someone pulled her up from a deep well she was sinking in, she remembered nothing. What she saw in the well was a blank, which made her sure that the second prince was somewhere nearby her. Yet the library was frozen in time at first glance.
