"I... I will follow you Morningstar." Li Xi whispered shattering Jayden's illusion.
_Fuck!_ Jayden felt like vomiting blood out of anger.
"Just leave already! I don't need you here, anyway. In fact, I'm better off without you two!" Jayden snarled, his voice filled with resentment and frustration. He hated seeing Li Xi's siding with Morningstar, especially now that she had chosen Morningstar over him. As Morningstar continued walking away, Jayden felt a sense of anger rising within him. All his plan to get Li Xi seems to have been shattered by his damn cousin.
"Can I go with you, Morningstar?" Li Xi asked, her eyes pleading as she looked at him.
"No, you will be a hindrance to my quest." Without an ouch of emotion, Morningstar let out.
"Ah~" Li Xi felt her hope being shattered, she knew following him would increase her chance of survival in this Godforsaken land. Since he has a mysterious rune and is capable of fighting, wouldn't it be great being with him rather than the dumb Jayden, plus she has a good-looking figure which made her feel certain that Morningstar won't reject her but, he did.
And Jayden who heard it felt smug.
_That is good, now come back like a good little dog and beg me._ Sadly, Jayden is bound to meet a disappointment.
"But, I didn't stop you from following me so far you have the strength to protect yourself." He added.
"Phew~ Please can you always say all your words in a go? You almost made me scared." Li Xi pouted.
Morningstar couldn't help but shrug at her action.
[Tsk, what a beautiful girl. You can use her in the future.] Abyssal's voice echoes in Morningstar's head which he ignores and keeps moving forward with Li Xi behind him.
"I wish to follow you two." Jace voice echoes shocking everyone aside from Morningstar.
_Damn this son of a mere employee!_ Jayden felt angry that his heart burned with rage and he couldn't talk but stare at Jace with his red eyes.
Jace avoided Jayden's vicious gaze and walked towards Morningstar and Li Xi. He took a long look at the snacks they were supposed to eat and then turned to leave.
_If Morningstar, who is much stronger than any of us, didn't bother taking those snacks, he must have another way to get food. Besides, he's much stronger than this arrogant jerk, who still lives under the shadow of his father's success._ With that thought, he followed Morningstar.
Jayden was angry but after seeing Jane staying with him, his mind calmed down a bit.
_This is even better, I can have fun with Jane. Although she isn't as beautiful as Li Xi but still she is top notch and I will use this opportunity to hunt and grow stronger to the point I can make Li Xi spread her legs with just a stare. Morningstar you shouldn't have provoked me all because of a girl, now just wait for my comeback._ Jayden could already picture how he would deal with everyone who looked down on him.
"Umm, Jay. Can we eat?" Jane's voice snaps him out of his fantasies.
"Sure let's eat."

Jace looked at Morningstar with a grumpy expression.
"Morningstar, you're clearly more stronger than Jayden why don't you take all the goods back? I'm sure he won't be able to do anything." Jace asked.
If it was him with Morningstar's power he would have done so without hesitation after all, he is clearly stronger.
_What is Morningstar's thought exactly for him to abandon so much food? Is it true he is a weirdo?_ Jace thought inwardly as he peeked at Morningstar.
[Hehehe, indeed that would have been the best option, sadly we already know what will happen in a few minutes time. Have you gotten some pot and spices kiddo?]

Morningstar replied, even though he was filled with anticipation of seeing such a miraculous sign tonight that he couldn't care of some 'use-less' food.
Suddenly, Morningstar halted as he looked at his front. Over 23 dead 1 meter long lizards with different wounds on their bodies were on the floor.
[Bingo, now this is the food, I wonder who or what was able to kill these lizards, quickly go skin them and cook their kidneys and heart. You can cut some of their soft internal skin too. From the memories I got, their juicy brains restore energies within minutes so take it too.]
Morningstar felt shocked, at first he felt repulsive at the thought of eating such a thing but when he remembered what he had been eating for the past 18 years of his life he couldn't help but sigh.
_What is there to delay? So long I can get strong and find my mother then I shall do it. Hopefully, she's still safe._ steeling his heart, he stepped towards one of the death lizards and started cutting open its stomach with Abyssal's help.
Li Xi and Jace were confused about the reason for him cutting it.
_I know Morningstar doesn't do anything without benefits. If I must survive then I will do the same._ With such thought Li Xi followed Morningstar's action of cutting open a lizard's stomach. Although her action was a bit clumsy but thanks to her superhuman strength she had no problem in doing it.
Jace was the only one who stood still and watched. After watching both Morningstar and Li Xi cutting and taking the heart and kidneys of over 12 and 8 lizards each he couldn't help but ask.
"What will you be doing with those beast lizards Morningstar ?"
"This is food." Morningstar casually replied as he gathered the bloodstained hearts and kidneys.
[It's finally time...] Abyssal let out.
In a sudden movement, Morningstar's head shot up, his eyes quickly scanning the blood-coloured moon which just popped up. Li Xi and Jace, who had been following closely, were startled by his sudden change in demeanour and also looked up, searching for any signs of danger.
"Gasp~"
Li Xi and Jace inhaled sharply, their faces pale with terror, they could feel their hearts pounding in their chests and they were frozen in place, unable to move. Their eyes were wide with fear, unable to look away from the bloody Moon in the sky.
"Wha... What the hell is that?" Jace stutter.
Just then, Li Xi, Morningstar and Jace suddenly felt like something flicked on the surface of the moon.
"Did I see wrong?" Jace asked with doubt as he felt a chill running through his spine at the sight of what shows itself on the moon.
With a sickening crack, the crimson moon's centre split apart, revealing a bright yellow orb that resembled an eye. The moon's surface seemed to ripple and swirl around the eye as if it were a living thing. The eye stared at the three figures below and then, bright yellow light descended on the three.

"Ahhh~ ahhh~ Jay, take ahhh~ it easy~" In a dark room, two people could be seen in an intimate position. With one thrusting in and out while the other moans.
Suddenly two beams of yellow light enter the room like a living thing They curve and land on the two shocked people who turn out to be Jayden and Jane.
After both Jace and Li Xi left, he couldn't help but want to vent all his pent-up frustration and thankfully Jane didn't reject.
Just when he was about to hit the climax, a yellow light landed on both him and Jane, completely exposing them. If that was all he wouldn't have worried but the light suddenly split again and landed on the can food, drinks, and snacks.
With a look of pure horror on his face, Jayden watched as the snacks and drinks turned to dust before his very eyes.
He didn't have time to pull out of Jane as he remained in such a weird position.

"Huh?!" Jace suddenly felt the cupcake in his pocket melting, he hastily brought it out and was shocked to see it dissipate into dust.
"Mo... Mo... Morningstar how... What... How is this possible?" He stutters with a pale face.
Morningstar couldn't help but shrugged in reply.
"Goddamit! Which person used a strange treasure to absorb all the food? Don't let me find you or you will be dead!!"
"My food! Arrrrgh..."
"This is impossible! I haven't even taken a bite!!!"
"Holy heaven! I must find the bastard responsible for such an act!"
The trio heard voices from different places. They could even see some places thanks to the moon's eye which shines on all the living humans.
None of the humans would expect such a thing to happen, after suffering and killing some of the poisonous earthworms and managing to reach the second floor they finally got some food and as humans, they only took a few bites while hiding the rest for future use.
No one would have expected such a turn of events.
[Just like the fairy said, from now fight or die. Sadly she forgot to let you know that no moment of peace will be given to you guys unless you grow stronger.] Abyssal said.
_Sigh, hopefully, we will finish this one-month tutorial and get transported into the new world. Also, will this damn moon be coming out every day?_ Morningstar questioned.
[... Nope, just once or twice.]

"Time to get work," Morningstar muttered and then removed the pot, knife and matches from his backpack. He then filled the pot with lizard blood.
[Since there is no water, use the blood as a replacement. Sadly the damn moon didn't spare us some spices.]
That was what Abyssal told him. After which he put some of the hearts and kidneys into the pot.
_This guy is insane!_ Jace thought while watching.

"I swear I didn't take the food from you guys. I know someone else who must have taken it. I can help you find him. Also, he has a strange power that gives him information, and if you could take that power for yourself, you'd be unstoppable. Let me help you. I want to make things right." The sincerity in the speaker's voice was unmistakable, but the others still eyed him with suspicion.
With bruises and swollen eyes, Jayden let out while fearfully watching the 30-plus men looking at him angrily. The best choice he has at the moment.
[Use them and kill Morningstar...] A strange thought floated his brain, it felt like almost a real voice.
