Hitchcock felt like Officer Klein's appearance had drastically changed from the young normal-looking man. Right now he radiated a killing aura that felt like icy coldness in a gloomy room, intensifying the chilling atmosphere around him.
Officer Klein's dark, long coat billowed behind him, and his hat lowered, obscuring most of his face except for his mouth, which was exposed. The red moon overhead cast a sinister shadow on his features, adding to the ominous aura that radiated from him.
Looking around, Hitchcock discovered that most of the people were in deep sleep, some were even snoring while a few were dead, probably from losing too much vitality or shockwaves from their initial fight. Without turning around, it was like Officer Klein knew that Hitchcock had arrived as he called out to Hitchcock in a voice that was strangely flat and emotionless.
