Looking at the spirits being absorbed by Kofi's sword. Morningstar felt like his own situation was a bit different, instead of saying he absorbed the 'spirits' it's more accurate to say he absorbed their energies and dispelled them.
It was completely different from Kofi's sword style. If he were to define the feelings in science then it means he was just absorbing the electromagnetic energies that have accumulated here filled with thousands of dead bodies. It has nothing to do with spirits. Shaking his head at his funny thought, Morningstar quickly stabilised his emotions as another spirit was pulled into his body, not hesitating.
He circulates his qi through his meridians. The spirit which was inside his body tried possessing him but with the help of the necklace slowing it down, Morningstar circulated his energy faster with each spin, a wisp of the spirit's energy merged with his own and after some seconds its energy was completely absorbed.
Following that, Morningstar dispelled the spirit and watched it vanish before his eyes. At its last moment, Morningstar felt like the spirit's eyes were filled with clarity as it looked at him with gratitude. He didn't know if it was s mere hallucinations or not.
Not bothering himself, he absorbs another spirit and repeats such a circle. He didn't know that at that moment, all his stats were increasing at a fast pace. From the legends that existed in ancient times, humans were a complex race with varied potentials. Unlike other races whose potentials are in one direction.
For example, the elves, only have exceptional talents for mana and controlling nature magic. Barbarians are more brutes with strong physical bodies and low talents for magic. Dwarves are more crafters rather than mages or warriors.
But humans are different. It was like they held different abilities from birth. Some will grow to be talented mages and have strong physical bodies to even tank planetary explosions. Become best in crafting weapons, can even be turned into vampires, lycans and a lot more.
Because of this most races always enslave them or seal their abilities to grow stronger and ensure no human planet can rise to power. But a god thought of another way to help them, kill a living being and earn a rune to level up, although that manner isn't compulsory but it was the shortest out of all. Right now, Morningstar is taking a different part. He was absorbing the spirit's energies and with each spirit, he experienced his QI surging upward.

Snapping out of his daze state, Morningstar was shocked to discover that all his stats had reached (50+) which baffles him. Following that was the bloodline or so text.
Subconsciously, he remembered his future self telling him to choose the number twelve if he wanted to experience a smooth part.
_Does that mean I wouldn't be a human again if I chose it?_ Morningstar thought. Maybe it was because of how he reacted. Kofi saw the look on his face and couldn't help but ask.
"All my stats have suddenly reached 50 and now a notification with bloodlines suddenly pop-up while..." Morningstar calmly explained everything to Kofi who was shocked to the point he didn't even control his sword and left it on autopilot.
"Huh, this... This is new. Wait, do you think the Earth Federation, Pop and Tyranny Of Steel boss have all gotten past this stage?" Kofi asked to which Morningstar nodded.
"Yeah, it says, I'm the sixteenth person to reach such a level. So I'm guessing others have reached it too."
Kofi was left shocked once more, after some seconds of thinking he looked at Morningstar and asked, "So, what will you choose?" "I... I don't know," there was confusion in Morningstar's eyes as he stared at the hologram which was still floating and waiting for his decision.
"I want to choose the fallen angel but at the same time, I want to remain a human." Kofi looked at Morningstar and said, "Being a fallen angel doesn't mean you can't have the heart of a human you know. Races are just another identity so far as long as you still remember your roots and where you come from. Being a fallen angel is just another identity and it doesn't mean you are evil. So follow your heart bro and trust me, I will always be here for you."
Those words were more than enough to touch Morningstar's heart, he looked at Kofi with a smile of appreciation and said, "Thanks, man. I appreciate it, I guess it's time I make my choice."
Saying those words, he then looked at the hologram his eyes turned fierce with determination as he pressed, the fallen angel.
