Third Person POV
28th Floor, Dungeon.
...
...
The corridor of the 28th floor stretched before Lucius Drakenar like a dark path intertwined with ancient mysteries. The dense atmosphere was marked by the presence of an ethereal and dark mist that moved slowly across the worn stone floor. The walls were so worn that they seemed to be inscribed with ancient runes adorning the strange structures of this part of the dungeon, recounting tales of epic battles and challenges overcome by adventurers of the past in these corridors where only a portion of Orario's adventurers could enter, but none alone as Lucius was doing here.
Light was scarce, but Lucius easily raised his hand and summoned a magelight; the sphere glowed as it floated, illuminating everything ahead of him. The light revealed the hidden details of the corridor, highlighting the ancient textures of the stones and the dancing shadows on the walls. The mist, in turn, was like a subtle veil that enveloped the environment, giving it a sense of mystery and tension. It was challenging to discern what lurked in the shadows, but Lucius would not falter in entering these floors and began taking his first steps.
As he walked, the corridor narrowed, creating a sense of confinement. The echo of his steps reverberated, amplified by the ancient architecture of the place. While advancing, the subtle sound of movements in the shadows caught his attention. Suddenly, circling the outlines of the walls, emerged one of the first creatures of the 29th floor: the Shadow Wyrms. Serpents shrouded in darkness, their eyes glowing with a sinister red light. The mist thickened, obscuring the sinuous forms of the creatures. Lucius, however, remained undeterred. With skill, he raised his hand and summoned Fireball, casting them toward the shadowy serpents.
The Shadow Wyrms, agile and sinister, reacted with rapid serpentine movements, avoiding the fiery spells. Lucius, in turn, channeled his agility and dodging skills, becoming a shadow among shadows. The serpents attacked the void as the sorcerer moved gracefully with evasive moves and spells, like a magical dancer on the dark stage.
In response, Lucius decided to raise the stakes. Concentrating his magic, he used the Charged Magic ability, preparing a charged fireball. An explosion of energy accompanied the launch, hitting the shadowy serpents with overwhelming force. The creatures, consumed by magical fire, disappeared in smoke finally.
"These monsters are on another level..." Lucius felt the difficulty of killing the first monster there, but he didn't have much time to analyze because something started to appear for him. The corridor, now silent, revealed other nooks in the shadows, hiding new challenges. Lucius stood at the threshold of the 29th floor, his spells ready to face whatever the dark depths would bring next. Amidst the crackling of magical flames and the mysterious mist, his journey entered a realm where shadows and the light of magic intertwined in an eternal dance.
As Lucius Drakenar delved deeper into the 28th floor and faced new challenges, a distressing realization enveloped him: the monsters residing here were undoubtedly of a magnitude of superior power. Their presence was palpable in the shadows that danced around.
In the middle of the floor, while his steps were cautious and the Magelight spell illuminated his path, a new creature emerged—huge red dinosaurs, the Bloodsauros. Preparing for the confrontation, Lucius summoned his defense, casting his support spells. Confronting the Bloodsauros, he unleashed a series of Multi-Firebolts, exploiting the creature's armor flaws. Moving with agility, he dodged powerful attacks, utilizing the Quick Dodge spell. He continued at this pace with more powerful attacks as the fight went on, and he finally managed to make the monster fall dead, gaining the usual points, not much different from the 26th floor.
As he advanced, he encountered a clearing overrun by Violas, humanoid flowers craving flesh. Lucius unleashed the power of his Fireballs, creating explosions that dispersed the shadows. His path was set, and the resistance of the monsters seemed futile against the overwhelming fire. He continued this path, starting to get used to all those new creatures he read a bit about in the guild manuals.
The 29th floor revealed new challenges. A parasitized Power Bull and Grand Treants awaited in the dark corridors. Lucius strengthened his body with his support magic again to face the enormous demonic bull. With his Fireballs, he broke the demonic influence controlling the creature.
Facing the Grand Treants, Lucius used electrical magic to his advantage, wielding the weapon that Welf created charged with Lightning Weapon. The cutting electricity proved effective against the wooden creatures, while he set up magnetic traps with Minor Gravitational Field.
The 30th floor plunged Lucius into an epic confrontation. Spartoi, Barbarians, Lizardman Elites, and Obsidian Soldiers emerged from the shadows. Lucius did not retreat, using enhanced tactics and evolved spells.
Against the Spartoi, he executed agile movements with Quick Dodge/Rank 3, avoiding precise blows. His weapon was enveloped in electricity, cutting through the skeletons with [Lightning Weapon/Rank 3].
The Barbarians were faced with increased agility from [Speed Booster/Rank 2], while Lucius delivered quick and accurate blows with his dexterity and agility on the verge of level 3. His mastery of magical arts was still small in his opinion, but it was evident he could handle these fights with some difficulty within his limited repertoire.
Lucius detected through the walls a trap set by a group of Lizardman Elites and quickly launched a series of [Fireballs], gaining an advantage over the scaly enemy.
The Obsidian Soldier faced Lucius's electric fury, whose katana was wrapped in lightning, piercing the monster's lava defense. Intelligent tactics and powerful spells secured victory.
The path still stretched ahead, but Lucius, instead of reaching the thirtieth floor, went to the thirty-first, but did not go through it. He wanted to accumulate points without resting and continued in the early deep floors with energy potions he obtained from Miach's pharmacy. It was only after days without resting that he decided to go further.
Thus, he entered the thirty-first floor after 2 days, where there was a safe zone.
"Finally, a resting point..." Lucius looked at the quiet and calm place and used his life-detection spell to ensure he was still alone. Summoning his creation magic, he created a rest zone to prepare food and rest at the moment.
'I'll eat, read a bit more about Riveria's notes, and rest. I want to reach at least the 37th floor before returning to the surface,' Lucius thought as he prepared his things.
"Anyway, I'm doing really well. I can even buy a Rank 4 spell now, and my statistics are exploding just with this raid." He had collected many points since these monsters provided exorbitant points with the help of the Soul Trap spell, accumulating over 3 million points, but he didn't bother to keep any crystals, giving everything to the system.
Opening the store again after deciding how to spend his points.
[Space Spell/Catch-Loot/Rank 3: 500,000] (Grabs any loot item such as magic stones, gold, weapons, armor, and much more within a 10-meter radius)
[Healing Spell/Intermediate Healing/Rank 3: 1,000,000] (Much more effective than rank 2 healing)
[Support and Space Spell/Small Dimensional Arsenal/Rank 3: 1,000,000] (Spell that stores anything in a 1-square-meter space)
[Lightning Spell/Lightning Trap/Rank 3: 1,000,000] (Creates an invisible magic circle on the floor, and anyone who touches it explodes in their specified element.)
[Total: 3,500,000 Points]
[Do you want to acquire these Grimoires? (YES/NO)]
"YES"
[Store Points: (3,860,000 – 3,500,000): 360,000]
'These aren't all offensive spells, but they will be useful for me to act faster on these floors. First, I won't need to use this backpack anymore, which ends up hindering my mobility, especially during battles. I even had to take it off to face some enemies with my sword.'
'The second useful spell is Catch-Loot. I'll never have to worry about stopping to pick up stones again. I was already regretting not bringing Riekling. It's very annoying to be constantly crouching to pick up magic stones. Another tome that he always wanted to get was a trap spell, something useful to ambush enemies and Lucius knew this spell would be very useful on these floors since creatures tend to hide in the darkness and try to make stealth attacks, something Lucius dealt with well with his life-detection spell, excluding the skeletons, as they are not living creatures.'
'Last and most important is a more effective healing than my last spell. I've really been suffering facing these monsters, and I know I can die in a direct attack from them, so I have to be careful.' Lucius didn't regret spending the 3.5 million he accumulated in the last few days. He had Soultrap, a spell that further increased the amount of points obtained from magic stones and could recover that amount in the next few days to get other spells.
Lucius rested for 12 hours straight. The place where he stayed was full of magic traps that he made a point to put as a precaution, but he had no problems with that. So he prepared, canceling his entire camp and defenses. Now, he headed to the next floor only with his clothes, without a sword at his waist or a large backpack on his back, as he now had a small storage space, being able to summon his sword with just a thought.
'It seems there's no one on these floors...' He thought while walking around without finding any adventurers since he entered the capital of water.
Leaving these thoughts behind, he continued on to the thirty-second floor to explore a new level of the dungeon...

Racoonn Here:
* It seems there's a safe point between floors 28 and 36; I'll mark it as 31.
* There are monsters that do not exist in the work, but I added them here because the knowledge of these floors is very limited.
