Sebastian laid out his thoughts plainly. 

The serpentfolk chieftain was no longer as tense as before; since the Judge could no longer move, there was no need for haste.

"The [Box of Eternity] is a sacred artifact of our serpentfolk. If it can immobilize the Demon Race Judge, then I believe the duration of its effect won't be brief. In the previous battle, none of my skills had any effect on the Judge.Did your skills have any effect on him? If your skills also failed against the Judge, it seems we have no way to defeat him," the chieftain said, casting Sebastian into a slight despair. 

Indeed, as the chieftain had said, none of the skills Sebastian used had inflicted any damage on the Judge.
