Chapter 50 - Chapter Fifty

Roth must have caught Tristan staring at him as he flashed him a smile, which Tristan was too lost in his own thinking to notice. Upon noticing Tristan's frown, Roth's expression changed to a look of concern. He raised his eyebrows to ask Tristan what the deal was.

Tristan maintained looking at him with a hurtful look.

"It's time for our first call - if my friend would tell us who our first caller is?" Roth gave Tristan a pointed stare from across the glass wall of the booth.

Maintaining eye- contact with Roth, Tristan spoke in his mouth piece, "Our first caller is Ruby, doctor." He watched the color drain out of Roth's face on the name. Without waiting for further affirmation from Roth, he pressed a button that would connect them to Ruby.

"Hello, doctor? Am I audible to you?" That squeaky voice could not be their Ruby - Roth's Ruby. Tristan let out a sigh of relief that he didn't even know he had been holding in. She may have been Roth's first love, but Roth still hadn't let her in on his secret. It was still only Tristan's to keep.

The thought that Roth had only trusted him with this aspect of his life filled Tristan in with a sense of pleasure, and he gave Roth a smile from behind the glass. Roth had recuperated from the initial shock of hearing her name, and had put on his usual cheery voice again.

"How can the sex doctor serve you, Ruby?" He was saying without even a trace of remorse on his face. Tristan tried to search for any remainder of feelings on Roth's face every time he said her name, but Roth was the master of masking his emotions.

"Oh doctor, I am sure you can help me with my problem. You are a true genius when it comes to sex. My problem is that I have been married for several years and my sex life has gotten tedious. I am tired of the same monotonous routine. Could you tell me how to bring the spark into my sex life?" The woman on the line sounded genuinely troubled.

Roth let out a chuckle, "Ruby, everything gets boring after a while, if you keep doing it the same way. Sex is an art and art requires complete liberation on mind, body and soul. You may have your fears and everything, but don't be afraid to try new positions and equipment. Are you getting me?"

"Yes, doctor. We have tried new positions and toys, but they all get boring after a while. It just doesn't feel the same anymore."

"Tell me, Ruby, how many senses do you use when you are having sex?"

"What do you mean, doctor? What have senses got to do with sex?"

"Senses have everything to do with sex. Your senses help you feel. Let me tell you about using all five senses during sex; sight, sound, taste, touch and scent."

"Starting with the sense of sight, sexual pleasure includes not only shots of crotches bumping together, but also the look in someone's eyes - the anticipation, surprise, and unabated release that is a sexual experience. It's important to keep your eyes open and take in every moment during sex."

"Our sense of sound - the sound of sexuality, our aural sensations, is not only confined to the moans and groans, the grunts and screams of sexual ecstasy. Our initial impulses and fantasies revolve around our experience with verbalization - these primal and instinctual sounds as well as dirty talk. Your use of verbal communication can be key to a mutually fulfilling sexual experience. Slaps, squishes, slurps, breathing and beds banging as well as words and moans all get people off."

"The most important of all is the sense of taste during sex - there is something delightful about feeling someone's tongue on your body. Whether it be a seductive lick of the neck, running along your lips in a deep kiss, trailing down your body or being buried in the delicious destination, our tongues play a major role in sexual excitement. While it may be easy to fall in love with what your lover does to you, think about what it is like to put your tongue to use lapping at your lover."

"Imagine licking champagne off your lover's breasts. Sucking whipped cream off your partner's cock. There are countless ways to include the taste of your favorite sweet or savory flavor with your partner's skin in a hedonistic buffet." The sex doctor was at it again, saving people's sex lives.

"Of all of our senses, touch seems the most explicitly linked to sex and sexual activity. That's the crux. Sex and touch are indelibly linked when we conceive of them being linked by our own physical connection to another person. Lip to ear. Tongue to nipple. Fingers to clit. Penis to vagina and every other combination of body part to body part people find pleasurable. How our skin reacts to each of these parts, as well as the added tangibles of warmth and cold, hard and soft, rough or smooth, strong or gentle creates a unique sensation felt through our nervous system and ultimately recognized as sexy, not sexy or somewhere-in-between."

"If we talk about even BDSM - slaps, scratches, punches, bondage may initially invoke feelings and images of despair, degradation and attack. But when they are administered in a controlled, consensual and agreed upon manner, these forms of touch different but still strong nervous reaction in the body that can be wonderfully sexually satisfying to some." Roth took a moment to steal a look at Tristan, this was a secret he was keeping even from his best friend. He didn't know much about Tristan's views on sex.

Despite co-hosting the sex doctor show with him, Tristan had rarely ever opened up his sexual fantasies and preferences. Thinking of it, for a person as open about sex as Roth, he never really discussed sex with his best friend. He made a mental note to find out Tristan's views on BDSM and his sexual fantasies and kinks. Afterall, your best friend should know this stuff about you.

He quickly wrapped up the show after that and headed out to chat with Tristan, who was waiting for him outside with two steaming mugs of coffee.

"Once again, mind blown, sex doctor." Tristan cheerfully congratulated him, handing him a mug of coffee.

"Can I ask you something?" Roth's serious expression quickly sobered Tristan up.
