Ember was sure her cheeks were red. She's blushing. Yet she's in mixed emotions right now. A while ago she was just reminiscing the trauma she had here in this place, in this school, but then here is Jayden announcing to the crowd that she is his mate, professing his love for him as if he's ready to dive into whatever outcome of this maybe. She should be proud. She should be happy, but she's sure that deep inside her, there's hesitation. There's fear, and most of all -- there's this sense of revenge. Yeah, unless it hasn't all been answered about what really caused her death in the past, she knows that she could not trust in Jayden's love for her.
"Hey, Miss Ember...we're happy for you," one of the facilitators elbowed her. Their eyes were gleaming happy for her.
