Chapter 11 - -PROXIMITY-(past pt.9)

As Dylan leaned in close, his lips brushing against Violet's ear to cancel out the thrum of loud music, she could barely make out his words. The party's atmosphere buzzed around them, and Violet, still uncertain, did her best to focus, all while feeling the daggers thrown her way by the other girls in the room.

Dylan- Wanna dance with me?

Violet raised an eyebrow, still surprised by the question

-"With You?"

Dylan nodded with a mischievous smile as he pulled back there gaze meeting each other

-Yeah, me.

A playful smirk tugged at Violet's lips as she tilted her head, eyes sparkling with a challenge.

Violet- Let's see if you can keep up.

With a firm but gentle grip, Dylan pulled her toward the dance floor. The music, loud and intoxicating, pulsed through the air. It was in Spanish, vibrant, passionate, and the rhythm effortlessly matched their movements. The crowd blurred around them as their bodies swayed and stepped in sync, the beat guiding their every motion singing along~

-Baby, ponte pa míMami, te siento lejos, dime dónde estásTe quiero chingar, te voy a raptarDéjate llevar y apaga el celularQue si estás conmigo no te va a pasar naSolo déjate llevarTate atenta a la jugáSi yo quiero contigo y tú quiere' conmigoDime si se da-

The room's heat faded as they danced, lost in the moment, the music, and each other.

Amidst the chaos of the party, someone sat on a distant couch, his sharp gaze fixed on the dance floor. A glass of alcohol rested in his hand, his fingers wrapped tightly around it as he downed the last of it in one gulp. Setting the glass aside, he rose from the couch, eyes never leaving the pair swaying in the crowd.

No one pov~

As the music pulsed on, Violet suddenly felt a presence behind her, She turned slightly, but before she could react, her body collided with something solid.

Violet - Shi—

A pair of strong arms caught her in place, a tall frame towering behind her. Dylan froze, his gaze narrowing as it locked onto the pair of eyes glaring at him from behind Violet.

her voice barely a whisper surprised by the presence

Violet-"Sebastian..."

 Sebastian's POV~

Watching her with Dylan, laughing and moving with effortless grace, ignited a sharp pang of jealousy in me. The way she looked tonight, all dolled up and radiant, only intensified my feelings. It wasn't just the alcohol affecting me; it was the realization that she was enjoying herself with someone else, and it gnawed at me.

Her beauty seemed to be on full display, her elegance and charm making her all the more unreachable. I felt a fierce, possessive need rise within me, a raw, uncomfortable urge to make it clear that she belonged to me, and only me.As i-

No one pov~

Her breath hitched as she slowly turned to face the guy holding her. Sebastian stood there, a sly smile curving his lips as his dark eyes flickered between her and Dylan. He raised his hand, casually high-fiving Dylan.

Sebastian- Someone's having fun here,"

he said, the smoothness in his voice tinged with something darker.

Hearing there interaction her brow furrowing

Violet-You two know each other?

Dylan grinned, the tension thick between the three of them.

Dylan-"Yeah, we're close. Friends since childhood."

Sebastian's smile lingered, though the intensity in his eyes never faded, leaving Violet in a strange and unsettling game she hadn't realized she was a part of.

Sebastian- Well, bro, I need to borrow her for a moment.

Before Dylan could say a word, Sebastian gripped Violet's hand tightly, dragging her away from the crowd and toward the secluded pool area. The thrum of the party dulled behind them, leaving only the quiet ripple of water and their heated breaths.

Violet yanked her hand back in an annoyed tone

-Leave me!

Sebastian's expression darkened, his tongue poking at the inside of his cheek, his frustration palpable.

Sebastian's voice low, sarcastic

-Really? Bravo,my girlfriend having fun with someone else.

Violet frowned, her confusion clear trying to adjoin parts together

-What are you talking about?

His eyes glinting with something dangerous ,as if something was burning him

-You and Dylan... the way you two were laughing, it looked like I interrupted something.

Violet her voice firm as she took a step close with irritation clearly visible

-We're not actually dating, so stop meddling in things that aren't your business.

She turned sharply, trying to walk away, but Sebastian moved quickly, his hand gripping her wrist once more, pulling her back toward him. She stumbled slightly, gasping as her chest collided with his. He didn't let go this time, his other hand slid around her waist, holding her tightly against him. The closeness made her pulse quicken, and she felt the heat of his body surrounding her.

Sebastian voice dropped to low, possessive

-We might be fake dating, but that doesn't change the fact that "you belong to me."

Violet's breath caught in her throat. The way he said it like it was an undeniable truth, sent a chill down her spine. His grip on her waist tightened, firm but not painful, a silent reminder of the power he held in this moment. She could feel every breath he took, the steady rise and fall of his chest pressing against her.

her voice a shaky whisper trying to get out of this close, overwhelming intoxicating smell of cologne-covered

Violet- You don't own me, Sebastian.

He smirked, leaning in even closer, his lips dangerously close to her ear, his voice a dark whisper that sent shivers through her.

Sebastian-"Don't I?"

His fingers brushed against her waist, tracing small circles through the fabric of her top , the possessiveness in his touch unmistakable. He wasn't asking for permission - he was staking a claim.

Sebastian leaned in closer, his lips hovering just beside her ear. His breath was warm against her skin, sending a shiver down her spine. His grip remained firm, his fingers lightly brushing the nape of her neck, making it clear that he wasn't asking.

 His voice a husky whisper

-"You do. You've been mine since the day I laid eyes on you. And no one else will ever have you."

Sebastian pov~

When I pulled her close, the proximity between us was electrifying. Her body close against mine trapped , the warmth of her skin, was almost unbearable. My heart raced, each beat a reminder of how much I wanted her, how much I hated seeing her with someone else.

Her scent, mingling with the faint smell of alcohol, was intoxicating. I could feel every breath she took, her closeness making it hard to think straight. My grip on her waist was firm, a subtle claim I wasn't ready to let go of.

No one pov~

Without warning, he spun her around, her back now pressed against the cool wall The coolness of the stone contrasted sharply with the heat of his body pressed close to hers. His gaze was intense, but beneath it, there was something raw, something real. His hand braced beside her head, the other resting possessively on her waist.

The suddenness of it made her gasp, her wide eyes meeting his as his body caged hers in. The other rested possessively on her waist, holding her firmly in place.

Sebastian's gaze intense, his voice dripping with authority

-"No one else gets this close to you. Not Dylan, not anyone. You're mine, Violet Just.Mine"

-I-I can't lose again-

For a second, the mask slipped. There was a vulnerability in his eye, something that almost made her heart ache. The closeness between them wasn't just about control or power anymore; it was about something deeper, something he was struggling to put into words.

Violet's whispering, her voice trembling with anticipation feeling , if she moved an inch something might happen-

-"Sebastian..."

His hand slid down her side, slow and careful, not crossing any boundaries, but enough to make her breath hitch. His forehead rested briefly against hers, the moment stretched between them, heavy with unspoken words.

his voice barely above a whisper, a hint of anxiousness and hint of fear

-"You can push me away, but I'll still be here. I'll always come back. You're the only one who makes sense."

He leaned in, so close that his lips almost brushed hers. She could feel the tension, the electricity crackling between them as his eyes bore into hers, leaving her breathless. His presence overwhelmed her, her heart racing as he held her captive in the moment.

Sebastian's voice low, a dangerous edge to it ,as his mind became foggy suddenly he rested his head,on her shoulder his grip tightened as he mumbled consumed by alcohol

-"You're the one thing I can't afford to lose. That's why I can't let anyone else get close... because deep down, you already know this is more than just pretend."

Violet pov -

The second Sebastian pulled me close, everything else blurred. His body was warm, solid, and his touch sent a rush of heat through me that I couldn't ignore. My heart pounded, each beat loud and frantic, as his hand settled on my waist, holding me in place. The closeness was dizzying, his breath soft against my skin, making every nerve in my body light up.

I tried to steady my breathing, but the way he looked at me-so intense, so sure made it impossible. His thumb grazed my side, the simple touch sending a ripple of electricity through me. My chest tightened, breath catching in my throat as I felt the pull between us, something I wasn't prepared for. My heart fluttered uncontrollably, betraying every attempt to stay calm.

It was too much, too close... and yet, I didn't pull away.

I couldn't think straight , what was this feeling ? I asked myself unsure of what to do next

More than just pretend? His eyes when they bored into mine, filled with a raw intensity that made it hard to breathe, let alone think.I couldn't shake off the image ,the feeling

I tried to steady myself, to push away the warmth of his body pressed so close to mine, but his grip didn't loosen. There was something in the way he held me,like he was afraid I might slip away if he let go. As much as I wanted to dismiss what he said, to tell myself it was just part of the game we were playing, I couldn't shake the feeling that he believed every word.

And worse, I wasn't sure if I did too.

-Sebastian...

I finally whispered, my voice barely audible. I wasn't even sure what I was asking for space, distance, or something else entirely.

His fingers tightened slightly on my waist, not enough to hurt, but enough to remind me that he wasn't letting go. The warmth of his breath brushed against my ear as he leaned in, his voice low and deliberate.

Sebastian- You feel it too, don't you?

A shiver ran down my spine. I hated that he could see right through me, see how his presence made my heart race, my thoughts scramble. I wanted to deny it, to push him away and reclaim control, but standing here, so close to him... I couldn't.

Sebastian abruptly took a step back, the sudden distance between us feeling like a jolt. His eyes were still locked on mine, but now there was a mix of intensity and something like frustration in them.

-Go,

he said, his voice rough, almost restraining.

-Just go before I do something I'll regret... or something you won't like.

His words cut through the haze I was in, and I could see the struggle in his expression. I hesitated for a moment, trying to process the abrupt shift in his mood. The rawness in his voice, the pain in his eyes, it was a lot to take in.

Without another word, I turned and walked away quickly, the cool night air hitting me as I left. My heart was still racing, the intensity of the moment lingering, and I couldn't shake the feeling that this was far from over.

I had to force myself to maintain control, to push back the overwhelming urge to pull her even closer, to make her mine in a way that would push all boundaries.

I told her to leave, my voice strained, trying to mask the desperation beneath. As she turned and walked away, the sight of her leaving felt like a blow. The cool night air did little to calm the storm of emotions inside me. I was left standing there, grappling with the intense, almost painful pull I felt toward her, the night's events only amplifying the complex emotions swirling between us.
