Lu Zheng moved out and flew with Immortal Star towards the valley at the base of White Earth Mountain.
White Earth Mountain had a small scale resource point – white mud brook. The white mud brook was somewhere close to the peak of the mountain where water continually gushed out without pause. Even as the seasons changed and the weather became outrageous, the waters of white mud brook would never cease to flow.
This water spring was also incredibly pure and was the source of water for Na Qin Clan for many decades. The mud that formed at the banks were also rank one earth path cultivation materials – white mud.
Seeing such a natural resource was very rare but in comparison to other mountains, White Earth Mountain was too poor.
The mountains of Southern Border numbered greater than hundreds of thousands and it was impossible to count them all. Even so, one would be hard pressed to find a mountain that did not have high rank beasts or cultivation materials.
Take Bai Xi Mountain for example. Before Lu Zheng had pillaged it, there was a middle scale resource point there and Na Yuxi had even gone there in hopes of finding the rank five Snow Crystal Essence. There were also many wild beasts on Bai Xi Mountain.
Yet, other than Na Qin Jie's White Horned Wolves, there were no other beasts on White Earth Mountain. The only resource point also was lacking in vigour and could only produce rank one earth path cultivation materials.
It was certain to say that the people of White Earth Mountain were definitely poor and if it was not for the wild packs of beasts that roamed the valleys, they might not have anything to trade with the annual caravans that travelled to mountain villages.
This was also the most likely reason the martial practitioners of Na Clan were very weak. After all, without the pressure of death, a martial practitioner's growth would be very awkward.
Mortals would definitely curse Lu Zheng to death and condemn him to death by stoning if they knew he thought in such a manner. After all, this was the main reason they sought to live with martial villages.
They needed the protection from wild beasts.
However, if such martial villages were also to seek the onslaught of beasts, what would become of these mortals?
Yet, Lu Zheng knew his line of thinking was definitely not wrong.
~A martial practitioner can tap into his innate potential and burst forth with a greater strength under the sheer pressure of death. This is the very reason for which battle hardened experts live~
Lu Zheng's gaze was firm as he affirmed the notion in his heart.
~I have made Na Clan a part of my strength and I will surely do my best to cultivate their talents. This is my word and I will never depart from it!~
Immortal Star wrinkled his eyebrows as he turned his head to gaze at Lu Zheng. It was for a moment but Immortal Star had sensed it clearly…
The air around Lu Zheng had turned chilly with his aura as if a grand ice dragon had suddenly appeared only for it to disappear again. Moreover, this pressure that came with his aura was incredibly vast that Immortal Star felt it was impossible for it to have come from Lu Zheng.
Immortal Star probed with his Sea of Consciousness but he did not sense any third party. Lu Zheng also looked onwards indifferently as if the pressure that had come before had not even happened at all.
Immortal Star couldn't help but think: "Perhaps I am hallucinating…"
