Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: One Man’s Suffering

Two drops of Lu Zheng's Vermillion Blood moved into the hand with which he held Hong Haoyu before suddenly combusting.

Lu Zheng's hand turned a bright red as he controlled the heat to move into Hong Haoyu's meridians.

As if sensing the extreme yang in his meridians, Hong Haoyu's body began to cool over and everything in a two metre radius around him turned into ice.

Only Lu Zheng didn't freeze over.

"What are you doing?" Hong Haoyu asked.

"Move your ice Qi into your meridians" Lu Zheng didn't answer.

Obeying him, Hong Haoyu withstood the pain and moved his ice Qi into his broken meridians to cancel out Lu Zheng's heat.

The cracks in his meridians began to mend during the process and his meridians became even tougher. Hong Haoyu's translucent body also returned to its original colour and texture.

His meridians were being tempered by Lu Zheng's heat and his own ice Qi.

After a while, Lu Zheng let go of Hong Haoyu's hand and opened his eyes.

"Lu Zheng, you truly are god sent. You have my thanks" Hong Haoyu clasped his palms together in appreciation.

"He actually did it. He did it" Liu Hao who was one of the survivors was ecstatic.

"Hmm. Let's get going. We can never know when the others from Sun Palace will come" Lu Zheng said.

"That's true. They might be on their way now" Shu Teng said looking at the sea. "That ship over there must belong to the invaders. They might have been pirates"

"Let me lead the way" Hong Haoyu smiled as he stepped on the sea water making it to freeze over.

As he walked towards the ship, a trail of ice formed on the sea surface.

When they reached the ship, they couldn't help but exclaim. Ren Zu Province wasn't water bound and neither were the forces below it. To travel to other continents, they made use of Spatial Gateways.

As a result, this was the first time they would all be seeing such a magnificent ship. Only Lu Zheng had seen such in his past life.

The ship was extremely large and was decorated by the skulls of humans and beasts. Thick red words were written on its side reading 'Blood Vessel'.

"Awesome!" Themur exclaimed.

"Let's go in" Hong Haoyu said as he jumped on board the ship.

SWISH!

The sound of a sword beam resounded as a whitish arc swept by Hong Haoyu's body, cutting him into two neat halves. One landed on the ship as another fell into the seawater.

"I'm okay" Hong Haoyu waved from above the ship. His body had already regrown its other half.

"The Supreme Ice Physique sure is something" Lu Zheng muttered staring fixedly at the body in the seawater.

Immediately it landed in the water, it turned into ice and dissolved into water. It was as if nothing had happened.

"How do we get in?" Liu Hao asked.

"It's safe now. A sword formation was protecting the ship but it is now disabled. That sword beam was just its last possible attack" Lu Zheng replied.

Shu Teng gazed at Lu Zheng with shimmering eyes. She felt that he was an infinite abyss of knowledge.

Lu Zheng jumped on board the ship even though it was almost sixty metres high. The rest of the group also did the same.

Lu Zheng swiftly walked into the ship and entered its bridge. Unlike most ships, there was no helm for steering it. Only a small space could be found.

With the knowledge from his past life, Lu Zheng could use a huge movement artifact such as this ship. He quickly brought out dozens of vital stones and put them in the small space.

He then set the coordinates of their direction as any island nearest too them.

With that, the ship set out with a huge burst of speed but the inertia did not affect anyone inside it.

The ship was probably refined by a high ranking Master artificer.

"How are we going to return to the Sect?" Shu Mingling asked.

"When we reach our destination, we'll think of that" Lu Zheng replied.

With their current battle strength, it was impossible to reach Ren Zu Province. The wisest decision was to leave Asia and move to another continent to use a Spatial Gateway to return.

Nobody argued with Lu Zheng's decision as they felt it was the only logical thing to do.

"Now, this is a pirate ship and it is most likely filled with stolen loot. One man's suffering leads to another's joy. Why don't we take a look at it" Lu Zheng suggested with a chuckle.
