With the help of the magic metal, Henry went into the forest to search for the lost arrows. The arrows were of great assistance in his mission and he didn't have any other cheap source of such arrows. The magic metal was only helping him to repel the monsters. He went deep into the forest with an estimation of how he was carried in space by the dragon. He penetrated in the overcrowded plantations but very keen in checking the arrows. After a period of walking in the forest, it seemed like the arrows had not dropped that far. Henry turned to the center to make an accurate estimation. He guessed by the use of hands as observed. His right hand in space could directly indicate that he was doing some rough work calculations.
Henry used the tree he dropped on to get the direction. He slowly moved with his eyes sharp to detect anything on the ground. He was stopping after every two steps he made to check by sides. After a long time of keen observation, he saw an arrow hanging in space. It had been held by meandering tree branch. He stopped while his eyes were staring at the arrow. He didn't have any time to waste so he climbed up the tree immediately. The tree appeared to be very slippery so he tested first before climbing. The results were the same, his hands moved faster on the outermost layer of the tree. Henry knew that he would sooner fall down. He made a conclusion not to climb up and came up with a solution.
Henry sourced dry pieces of tree branches in the jungle which he used in performing the task rather than risking. Since he was an expert, he threw the sticks continuously targeting the branch that was holding up the arrow. The arrow dropped on the ground with its sharp side pointing down. Henry ran away to escape the arrow since it was targeting him. He successfully managed to get away safely. He smiled after the arrow dropped on the ground and stood straight. He then came to uproot it and said, "were it not for my legs, this one would have killed me." He went on to find the other arrows.
As a smart hunter, he knew there could be other arrows around there so he keenly observed again. He tried to shake all trees around to see if anything could drop. Unfortunately, nothing dropped from above. That was a trick but hunters never run out of ideas. He threw several rods randomly on the trees. Fortunately, another arrow dropped. That was an added advantage. He had two arrows at hand. There were only two not yet found but among the two, one had stug in a tree branch.
Henry went to remove the arrow that had been held by the branch. To him, he couldn't enter in the forest to search for an arrow which he was not sure of its location because "a bird in hand is better than two in bush." He went to split the branch by the use of the other arrows. It seemed to be an easy task but upon performing it, he found it very tiresome. That was the time he realized that all items were designed to perform certain functions effectively. The task could be very easy when using an axe because it was made to perform such tasks. There are times that situations force to apply other methods just like a lion. If a lion misses meat, it eats grass. The same theory applied to Henry when he used arrows to split the branch.
After splitting, he successfully removed the arrow making a total of three. The one that had been thrown far away in the forest was also essential to Henry. He set his journey into the forest to secure the remaining arrow before he could embark on the fight. As he entered deep in the forest, he made different observations because it was like an adventure. The jungle was a cacophony of life, where vibrant birds sang melodies only nature could compose, and unseen creatures rustled in the undergrowth. It was a place both captivating and terrifying, where the dense foliage concealed secrets as ancient as time itself.
Henry trekked deeper into the jungle, navigating through twisting vines and slippery mud, guided only by the compass of his heart. He encountered countless challenges but his determination remained unwavering. He was not sure of the exact place but he at least had a glue on the direction. He went through ups and downs but he remained firm. He was secured by the magic metal but this was not a guarantee since it was only a defensive mechanism against monsters. Anything apart from monsters could easily harm him.
As he entered deep in the forest, he heard chattering of monkeys from a distance. He knew he was in danger since the magic metal could not help him in such situations. He took to his heels back the side he was coming from. As he went, he passed by something which made him to reduce his speed. He turned back to confirm what was it though he was in fear. As he approached, he saw an arrow. He smiled and went to pick it up. Without wasting any single minute of his time, he continued with his exit journey because he was not after fighting wild animals. His target was on the monsters to obtain potions.
Henry armed with his four arrows and a spearhead, he went to set another target of war in his missions. He covered the magic metal immediately he got outside the forest to attract the monsters. He chose to move away from the obstacles for him to get enough space for shooting. Though this was dangerous to him but it could give him an upper hand in ensuring that he at least complete one mission. After some moments of waiting he didn't get any attack. He moved towards the city to find the monsters one on one. The only problem was that he had inadequate fighting equipments. For him, he strongly believed that he was going to utilize any opportunity to fight the monsters.
On the way towards the city, he heard a phone rang. He slowed down to check only to find out that it was a summoning message from the military school. His mind remembered as the only person who knew the whole story about Henry. The mail message had an attachment. He downloaded and saw a letter. It all began with a mysterious message . The letter bore no return address, only his name scrawled in elegant, looping cursive. Inside, a single sentence ignited his curiosity: "The government has come to a notice that you are fighting for this planet. Come for the necessary equipments."
Henry knew it was a plan from his friend Paul. This message made Henry to gain more courage as he went though with some fears because he was not sure if it was true or a trick to arrest him. But since it was a chaotic time, Henry believed the message and headed towards the military camp. As he was moving, he saw one human-like monster coming towards him. It was the darkest monster ever experienced in the planet. It could cover the light on the planet as it moved. The monster was changing its for as it moved from solid to gaseous. This brought alot of fear and anxiety in Henry. He chose not to fight but to just use a magic metal for protection.
His energy reduced drastically. This was the time a mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
[Congratulations for binding to the dominator system. The monster you have just seen is from human race. He was initially a person but turned into a monster by the powers of the awakeners.] [ The metal you are holding will help that monster to become human rather than repelling.]
The voice disappeared and Henry looked confused for a moment before he came back to his normal senses. He then raised the magic metal and pointed it to the monster in the space. Surprisingly, the monster started changing its form. This didn't take long before the monster became a human. This was something that appeared strange to Henry. Still in that state of confusion, a mechanical voice echoed again.
[You have been awarded 1 powerful potion.]
[This potion has the ability to awaken but at a low rate.]
[Complete at least one mission to gain another powerful awakening potion.]
The system then disappeared. Henry remained confused for some moment before he recovered. He stared at the changed monster and moved towards the newly formed human. He conversed with the tall dark handsome man formed from the monster. The man laughed loudly and ran away.
Henry was shocked and remained stand still on the ground as he observed in ewe. He quickly made a conclusion that the man had run mad after recovering normal senses. He then went on with his journey.
