Ariana, though expecting Zayn's 'attack', maintained a composed facade, refusing to let his words shake her.
"What? Was it wrong for me to question you? It's not like you have a clean reputation." Zayn knew he won this. The tension between Ariana and Zayn was palpable. Each word becomes a weapon in their ongoing battle.
Ariana bit the inside of her mouth at that moment because she knew what he had just said was true. She didn't have any words to answer the argument.
"So what? I'll be careful today!" She was now angry with herself.
"You better do it or solve it by yourself." Zayn gave his last warning, and after a few more minutes, they finally arrived at the royal castle grounds.
The atmosphere there sounded so lively even though Zayn and Ariana hadn't gotten off their carriage yet.
"Looks like a lot of people came early when the main event started tonight."
