Alexander looked at his daughter with a very serious face. He didn't say anything anymore, but this silent pressure that he put on her was enough for Ariana to understand that whether she wanted to or not she had to keep the promise.
"I promise." She had to say it halfheartedly. This could be a 'white lie' whether he likes it or not. She hoping this can make Alexander's tense face to calm down again but it didn't happen. She knows, he knows very well that she will never do that. Breaking a promise is not that hard after all!
