Ariana did not answer her father's question instead she put her hand on her chest as if she was asking herself. Since she was in this world, she clearly realized something. About the 'words of her own heart' which is never wrong.
She didn't want to believe it at first, but after going through so many incidents she realized that trusting her feelings was the best.
