The battle for the throne, 15 years ago.
The war between Conrad and Edouard had been going on for almost a year. The original plan was that Adeline Conrad would take her children to run away to the Land of Taldain with the help of Duke Basileious because the Land of Taldain, owned by the Basileious family, could not be touched by outside forces and was the safest place, but before they could leave, the royal block the sea and land so that no one could come in and out of the empire.
