Cultivating in the world of Magic

My name is Robert Noland I was killed by my sister's friend Luna. When I thought I was dead I suddenly saw a brilliant radiance of light. It disappeared and a sentence was formed in front of me. It said "do you want to be reborn". I replied " I want to be reborn". The text changed again and the new text said it will cost me something to be reborn. I asked what was the cost. The text changed and it said I will forget about my sister. When I heard that I quickly said I don't want to be reborn if I will forget my sister. But it was too late. Before I lost my consciousness I heard a voice saying if I reach the peak of immortal realm I will regain memories of my sister back. I was completely lost on what the voice said and I lost my consciousness. 

When I opened my eyes I found myself in the body of a 16 year old boy. A load of memories flooded into my brain. I had entered the body of the youngest prince of the Eclipse Empire Lin Xuan. In this world magic exists and Eclipse Empire is one of the 4 strongest Empires in the Xuan with Continent. There are many races in the Xuanwu continent. There are Elfs who specializes in nature magic from the Elven empire which is part of the 4 strongest empires. Then there are beast men who are from the one of the 4 strongest empire Beastly empire. Dwarfs who specializes in smithing magic lived in the Ironborn Empire which is also part of the 4 strongest empires. All the races lived together in every one of the 4 empires peacefully. 

Lin Xuan was the weakest prince compared to his older brother and sister. He had no affinity for magic and was removed from the throne Succession. He was bullied and mocked by others for not being able to perform magic while being Royal blood. He rarely attended any function and he was always in his castle with his butler, maid, and the chef. All three of them were 8 circle mages. Lin Xuan proposed to the daughter of Duke Erendom, Eliett Erendom at a banquet they held. But she rejected him , which caused him to loose face in front of all the people present in the banquet. Lin Xuan took his life by destroying his magic channels which is required to feel mana and perform magic. If one doesn't have a magic channel he or she will be a normal human and can choose any other profession except becoming a mage. If one forcefully tries to destroy his or her magic channel they will die. Robert thought to himself " So I have possessed the body of a person who is considered the weakest in this world. How am I supposed to reach the peak of Immortal realm" . He then quickly thinks what is immortal realm and why he wants to reach it. He felt as if he is missing something because the highest realm a mage can achieve is the title of Archmage whic is the level after 9 star mage. The highest level any person achieved in the past 1000 years was 9 star. No was able to step into the realm of Archmage. 

When he was lost in his thoughts he suddenly heard a sound " ding Godly cultivation system has been successfully binded with host "  . He then looks at the system and said to himself " Now this is awesome, it's same like how I read it in novels. With the system I will become the strongest magician alive" . His happiness didn't last long because when he checked, the system was to help it's host achieve immortality and make it's host ascend to the highest level of cultivation. He thought he will never become powerfull because this system will be of no help to him in the world of magic. Lin Xuan then procceds to check the system functions. The system told Lin if he wanted to claim the newbie starter random cultivation gift. He asked what it meant by random. The system said he could receive anything from it ranking from lowest tier to God tier things but it all depends on his luck. Lin Xuan decides to accept the gift. What he was about to get from the Starter newbie reward was gonna change the route of his life completely.
