Arthurs POV:
I gave Sylvie a thumbs up as she disappeared into the snowy landscape, her figure quickly blending with the terrain.
I was grateful that Professor Glory had grouped us together; otherwise, I might have found myself terribly bored. Lucas was fumbling with his cape ahead of me, trying in vain to adjust it.
Just as I was about to step forward and help him, Veronica appeared in a flash, deftly fixing his cape while he was still looking away. He turned, gave her a playful squeeze on the cheeks, making her lips pout like a fish.
"Thank you," he said, before meeting my eyes with a fleeting glance, and then shifted his gaze as if ignoring me he continued on with the others.
"Sugarcrash, " I mused to myself as I watched them walk together—a ball of pale wheat side by side with a ball of snow. From this distance, that's exactly how they appeared.
"Are you going to walk up now, or just stand there?" Lucas asked, turning to me with his usual cheeky grin.
"Yeah, bro," I replied with a smirk, and began moving forward to join him.

**Claire POV:**
"It's a dungeon, but... it's beautiful," Princess Tessia beside me exclaimed in awe, her eyes scanning the crystalline ceiling of the cave, which blended perfectly with the purple and black ground. The crystals hanging down looked both dangerous and enchanting at the same time.
"In case you weren't paying attention in class, this is a D-rank dungeon called The Widow's Crypt," Professor Glory said, turning to us as she surveyed the class and the dungeon with her sword extended.
I brushed a strand of hair out of my eyes and glanced at the others. They seemed as carefree as possible, the most relaxed being the Wykes Prince. The only serious ones here appeared to be Prince Curtis, Arthur, and Professor Glory—if I included myself in that mix. For everyone else, it felt like a field trip. Let's hope it stays that way.
I noticed that aside from the Wykes Prince, who was toying with something small, my curiosity piqued. I squinted and realized it was a little pointed knife. Maybe he is serious after all. I caught myself staring too long, and I was suddenly aware of the intense gaze of the girl next to him—her eyes locked on me, unblinking.
"…to about our Snarlers," Professor Glory concluded, bringing my focus back to her. Geez, I couldn't help but think, why did they call him Prince when he didn't seem to have any real title? He was just too mesmerizing to look at for too long. Claire, get it together—you didn't even listen to the professor!
Snarlers were orc-like creatures with pig-like facial features, protruding teeth, and Hard, leathery, black skin. In other words, overgrown pigs with four limbs that had grown excessively.
"I heard it's pretty easy to spot a few groups even on the first floor... I wonder if a team of adventurers came by recently," Prince Curtis said, walking beside me, gripping his sword tightly.
Yeah, it's unusual, I replied. "Professor Glory mentioned that she ordered the Adventurers Guild to restrict access to this dungeon for a few weeks for us. So, it's strange that we haven't spotted even one yet."
I summoned my rapier from my ring, gripping it firmly as we proceeded forward, weapons ready in hand.
As we walked, I soon sensed the rising anxiety in my fellow classmates, their concerns spilling out. "What's the point of being here if there aren't any beasts?" one of them asked. Another chimed in, "What happens if there aren't any beasts on the first or second floor? Do we go deeper?"
Professor Glory turned her head sharply, responding, "Absolutely not! If we don't find any mana beasts in the first two levels, we will report our findings to the Adventurers Guild."
"Maybe we can hunt for some mana beasts outside the dungeon if—" Curtis started, but he abruptly stopped as he collided with Professor Glory, who had halted suddenly. I followed his gaze, and my heart dropped.
There stood a horde—about ten to fifteen Snarlers, snarling in unison like a terrifying battalion. It was my first time witnessing such a large gathering of monsters. Despite my strength, I felt a shiver run down my spine as I instinctively tightened my grip on my weapon.
"Back… Get back!" Professor Glory commanded. Panic surged through us as everyone scrambled backward, with Arthur grabbing someone's arm as we retreated.
In a flash, Professor Glory engaged, slashing through the Snarlers with incredible speed and precision, taking them down in just two swift motions. She turned towards us, her expression fierce.
Before she had a chance to utter another word, a wave of snarling creatures emerged from all directions, enclosing us in a tightening circle. The air grew thick with terror as Professor Glory gripped her weapons, her eyes scanning the horde with a steely resolve. The snarlers, monstrous beings with feral eyes and bared teeth, let out bone-chilling screams that echoed through the air. They charged toward us on all fours, their speed and ferocity unmatched by anything we had faced before.
"Everyone, attack!" Professor Glory's voice cut through the panic. As the snarler swarm descended upon us, I could feel the ground trembling under their sheer numbers—close to a hundred of them, relentless and unforgiving. My heart raced, and a cold sweat dripped down my spine as adrenaline surged through my veins. Ohh shit, No , no Claire relax remember what Uncle Kaspain told relax and stay calm...

Tessia POV
"Come on die!" I couldnt help but mutter my frustration. Everyone was doing great why am i the only one struggling here.
I turned my head towards Roland who tripped and fell.. But Suddenly the snarlers chasing him came and jumped onto him trying to catch him.
They grabbed his head. I wanted to force my body to move but before I could do anything Arthur came like lighting
and with a single strike he decapitated the snarlers.
Blood flowing like fountain as he streched his hand towards Roland, and he picked him up and rushed.
Arthurs right arm was acting weird it felt like it limping. Arthur looked at me and gave me a nod as Roland went to safety and he moved out.
Slashing a Snarler I didnt quite felt right. Maybe im useless...
Before any more thoughts could come, I looked up at Lucas standing ontop to bodies as he came like lighting onto the snarler and struck him straight in the heart with his knife.
Wait..What?he has a knife as a weapon? Thats weird. His move was calculated and cold like he knew the amount of power used and how much he should use.
It fell down as a bit of blood fell on his face as he wiped it off. Another came and he moved like a snake and struck it on its nape. I need to get strong, I cant lag behind them.
