Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening in an Unfamiliar World

Sasuke Uchiha's consciousness slowly returned, but the world around him was utterly foreign. His last vivid memory was of the fierce duel with his older brother, Itachi, a battle that had ended with profound revelations and the bitterness of defeat.

As he groggily opened his eyes, he found himself in an unknown realm. Bewilderment gnawed at his senses. "Where am I? What is this place?" Sasuke mumbled, his voice gravelly and disoriented. Attempting to sit up, he encountered profound weariness, as though he had endured an unimaginable ordeal.

Images of his confrontation with Itachi replayed in his mind. He remembered Itachi's final words, his unwavering love and sacrifice. Then, the memory of the masked man who called himself Madara Uchiha, attempting to use a space-time technique to transport him overwhelmed his thoughts.

"No, I remember. Itachi's technique activated when that masked man tried to teleport me," Sasuke mumbled, his memory gradually returning. "And then...the impossible happened."

Sasuke managed to push himself to his feet. He took in his surroundings—a bustling city unlike any he had ever seen. Unusual creatures roamed the streets, and buildings with bizarre architecture loomed overhead.

Feeling weak, Sasuke realized that he was in a vulnerable state, not much stronger than when he had fought Naruto Uzumaki in his Stage 2 Curse Mark form as a child. This was no time for confrontation or attention. He needed to gather information discreetly.

Sasuke carefully observed the passersby, realizing that his appearance was drastically different from the inhabitants of this world. His attire and features marked him as an outsider. Understanding the need to remain inconspicuous, he expertly concealed himself from the prying eyes of the public using his extensive training and henge jutsu.

After he found a secluded spot and patiently waited, his keen senses alert. After a while, he spotted a target—an individual who seemed to be alone and engrossed in their own thoughts. Sasuke used his genjutsu skillfully, casting an inconspicuous illusion to gain access to their mind.

The woman, oblivious to Sasuke's intrusion, continued walking. Sasuke heard her thoughts, and as she passed him, he subtly manipulated her perception. Her thoughts were now understandable to him, and he had discreetly garnered valuable information.

Sasuke continued to blend into the crowd, piecing

together fragments of information as he moved through the unfamiliar city. He had no knowledge of the name of this world, nor did he need it for now. All that mattered was understanding his surroundings and finding a way back to his own reality.

As he navigated this enigmatic land, Sasuke couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to unravel the mystery of his unexpected journey. His journey into the unknown had taken an unforeseen turn, and he was determined to find his way home.

Sasuke's predicament had left him in a state of vulnerability he hadn't experienced since his early days as a ninja. His chakra was depleted, and his body ached with fatigue, a stark contrast to the formidable Uchiha warrior he once was. He knew he had to tread carefully in this unfamiliar world.

Hours turned into days as Sasuke observed the peculiar city. He noticed a minor amount of the inhabitants, who seemed human at first glance, displayed abilities and traits beyond anything he had ever encountered. Some had monstrous features, while others exhibited strange powers in plain view, as if it were a natural part of their existence.

Sasuke couldn't help but think back to the fateful moment when the masked man had attempted to use his space-time technique on him. Itachi's countermeasure, a mysterious space-time sealing technique, had activated in response to the threat posed by the man. A technique of such complexity that even with his mastery of the Sharingan, he could barely understand it even now. A technique like that, Itachi had to have sacrificed years of his life to create this technique, and now, it had propelled Sasuke into an entirely different reality. Even now, Itachi really was a genius. No, he couldn't think about him, not right now. There was too much pain and too much confusion about what really happened. He had to focus on what was most important—the strange world he was in.

The key to understanding his predicament, Sasuke

believed, lay in unravelling the nature of this technique and how it had interacted with Obito's Kamui. It was a puzzle he needed to solve to have any hope of returning to his own world.

As Sasuke continued his discreet observations, he noticed that the minor inhabitants, which wielded that strange energy that he could see thanks to his Sharingan, had an energy similar to Naruto's kyubi chakra. Though he would admit it would be insulting to the blonde idiot, to compare anything else, as their capacity was severely lacking with most only having a low chunin level of chakra. The city had an underlying tension. People spoke in hushed tones about curses and sorcery, hinting at a world teeming with supernatural forces. He needed more information, but direct communication remained a challenge due to the language barrier.

Days turned into a week, and Sasuke's condition gradually improved. He honed his genjutsu skills to understand and communicate with the inhabitants, much like he had done with the blue-haired woman on the first day. Through careful manipulation of their perceptions, he learned about the world he now found himself in.

This realm, as it turned out, was a place where curses and sorcerers coexisted with ordinary humans, hidden from the public eye. The city he was in served as a hub for these supernatural occurrences.

Sasuke learned that sorcerers, like the woman he had first encountered, were individuals trained to combat curses—malicious entities born from negative emotions. The city was a battleground where sorcerers and curses clashed, and sorcery was a vital part of life here.

He also discovered why his appearance—bearing the Uchiha crest and his distinct attire—marked him as an outsider, drawing both curiosity and suspicion. He realized that he needed to adapt if he were to navigate this world effectively.

As Sasuke delved deeper into this strange place, he unearthed another unsettling revelation. The world he had known as home, his original reality, had no recognition here. His own existence had become a paradox—an anomaly in the fabric of this strange universe.

Sasuke's determination to return home and resurrect the Uchiha clan burned brighter with each passing day. However, it was a task fraught with challenges.

He needed to understand the mechanics of this world's sorcery, its curses, and the nature of the enigmatic technique that had brought him here.

With his genjutsu-assisted language skills, Sasuke sought out sorcerers who might hold the answers he sought. He watched them from the shadows, analyzed their techniques, and slowly began to piece together the intricacies of Jujutsu.

He learned that cursed objects and cursed spirits

were fundamental to this world. Curses were manifestations of human negative emotions, given life and power. With some Sorcerers fighting to eradicate them and protect ordinary people from harm.

Among the sorcerers, Sasuke discovered a group known as Jujutsu Tech. They were dedicated to the study and eradication of curses, and they held crucial information about the supernatural forces at play in Jujutsu Kaisen. He would need to interact with the organization and the jujutsu society more directly to gain what he needed. It would seem he would have to step out from the shadows and show this world the power of an Uchiha.
