Chapter 5 - Chapter 3: The Eclipsian Scheme

Eclipsian Palace:

"Any update from the third prince?" Lord Varian inquired, his gaze fixed on a vast map of universe zones spread out before him. Beside him, Lady Seraphina Eclipsian was engrossed in her work with a huge purple orb.

She looked at him momentarily and then began chanting a mantra. A live feed popped up in front of both of them, a 5D projection that seemed almost real, displaying numerous runic numbers.

Lord Varian's face twitched with a mix of concern and disbelief. "So the Multiverse's top scientist is now collecting scraps? I hope others can't spy on him, or this will become a laughing stock in society."

Lady Sera laughed and pointed to some numbers on the side. "Look, his cosmic energy is a mere 0.00002%. Not even a single digit. This is insufficient even to summon a G-class soul, let alone anything we specialize in—summoning materials or living beings."

Varian fell silent for a moment, lost in thought. "Can we not help him? He is, after all, our son… and quite a famous third prince. We're ruling for 3000 Galacteons."

Lady Seraphina smiled and said, "Although he's an old monster, 3500 years ago, he reset his soul and essentially started anew. He's now 3500 years old. How about this? I'll send five cosniva coins. They might be useful for him, considering we are the only family in the multiverse to know their true usage."

"Hmm, you're right," Varian mused. "But we need to change the time frame. How about this? We prepare the fate of the five cosniva coins, sending two to be placed in that scrapyard. The remaining three will be scattered in pieces all over the world."

"Lady Sera, what is this world called?" Varian asked.

"Terraluna ," Lady Seraphina replied.

"Alright, let's proceed. Two coins will find their place in the scrapyard, while the rest will be dispersed in fragments all over the world," Lady Sera added.

In solemn unison, they reached a unanimous decision, sealing their intent by clapping their hands and initiating a profound mantra. It was a profound and intricate chant, resonating with the cosmic fabric that interconnected all realities. In that pivotal moment, time seemed to hold its breath, and the vast expanse of the multiverse itself appeared to come to a standstill, freezing for a mere nanosecond. The suspension was imperceptible to most but crucial for the fate-altering actions they were about to undertake.

Within the Eclipsian realm, where the essence of destinies and their interwoven fates manifested, the change was apparent. A subtle but profound shift rippled through the fabric of destiny, altering the course of certain lives and events. Those who happened to observe this in the realm took a moment to acknowledge the transformation.

Lord Varian: "It is done. Now, we shall wait and observe."

Lady Seraphina: "Indeed. Let us hope this small nudge reshapes the tide of destiny in the intended way."

In the periphery of the Eclipsian realm, where mere mortals happened to glimpse a fragment of this profound event, whispers and musings among the bystanders added an additional layer of speculation and curiosity.

Curious Observer 1: "Did you see that flicker, that pause? Something momentous just happened."

Curious Observer 2: "I felt it too. Like a shiver through the cosmos. What could elicit such a reaction?"

Curious Observer 3: "The Eclipsians are at it again, playing with the strings of destiny. But for what purpose?"

Inquisitive Scholar: "It's rumored they are orchestrating a course correction in some remote universe. The implications could be significant."

The observers exchanged theories and conjectures, their minds abuzz with the enigma of what they had just witnessed. Each had their own interpretation of the event, alluding to the intricate tapestry of fate that now bore subtle but purposeful alterations. The Eclipsians' actions, however veiled in mystery, had not gone unnoticed, leaving a lingering anticipation for what was to come.

Shaoran stood amidst the remnants of a forgotten era, a cigarette dangling between his fingers as he surveyed the sprawling labyrinth of twisted metal and shattered holographic displays. The air was thick with the scent of rust and decay, a reminder of a civilization that once thrived on cutting-edge technology. It was in this salvage yard, a graveyard of technological marvels, that Shaoran found a peculiar solace.

His gaze fell upon the scattered relics of a bygone age, each piece telling a story of innovation and progress. The holographic displays lay shattered, like broken dreams of a past world. Wires snaked through heaps of discarded gadgets, and skeletal frames of vehicles stood as silent witnesses to a once-futuristic world.

Amidst this chaos, Shaoran began to categorize the salvageable materials. The nanofiber sheets caught his eye—thin and flexible, yet incredibly strong. Perfect for reinforcing his ongoing projects. Nearby, quantum crystals shimmered like forgotten stars, capable of storing vast amounts of energy. As he sorted through the remnants, his excitement grew, fueled by the potential locked within these relics.

He took a drag of his cigarette, the smoke swirling and dissipating in the air. The neighbors passing by would often question Shaoran's fascination with the junkyard, but to him, this was a treasure trove. A world brimming with potential and untold possibilities.

"Got any spare parts for a hoverbike?" a neighbor called out as they passed by, glancing at the scattered materials.

Shaoran grinned, flicking ash off his cigarette. "Hoverbike, eh? I might just have the perfect components. Come, let's have a look."

The collection of materials continued, revealing plasma tubes, graphene panels, and energy cells. Each discovery felt like a step closer to unravelling the secrets of this dystopian world. It was a paradoxical beauty, the clash of the past and future, where innovation had both thrived and crumbled.

Shaoran found an old, tattered journal amidst the clutter of the junkyard. It was time to make sense of the salvaged materials. He wanted to sort them into groups of ten, each group serving a clear purpose in the task of rebuilding the world.

He began by carefully dividing the materials he had collected into categories, ten items in each. The first category was all about storing energy. Quantum crystals, nanofiber sheets, and plasma tubes were grouped together. These were essential for energy storage and building structures.

Category 1: Quantum Energy Storage

Quantum crystals: important for storing energy.

Nanofiber sheets: strong material for energy structures.

Plasma tubes: needed for using energy.

Category 2: Advanced Transportation

In one week, Shaoran sorted through lots of stuff in the junkyard. He found heaps of plastic bottles, paper cups, and papers, making a total of thousands of tons. His food at home was almost gone, and he finished organizing the collection into categories.

While he worked, he managed to fix a cleaning robot, turning it into a helpful butler robot. Now, it was ready to assist him in what he was about to do.

Shaoran felt a sudden wave of fatigue wash over him as he continued to work tirelessly in the junkyard. The exhaustion was overwhelming, and he could feel his energy waning. Just when he thought he might have to take a break, the butler robot, with its glass box, approached him.

With a knowing smile, Shaoran watched as the glass box opened, revealing two cosniva coins inside. He knew exactly where they had come from. As the coins began to react, a surge of power coursed through him. His smile grew wider, and he could feel his cosmic power returning, no longer at a mere 0.00002% but now at a formidable 3.9%.

Shaoran felt a deep sense of gratitude welling up within him. As the surge of power from the cosniva coins revitalized his being, he couldn't help but think of his parents who had always supported him from behind the scenes, even in their absence.

"Thank you, Mom and Dad," he whispered to the universe, knowing that their love and guidance had played a significant role in shaping him into the person he was now. Their influence was a source of strength, a beacon that pushed him to strive for greatness, even in the face of adversity.
