Helena's men steadily advanced after breaking through all of the gates.
Rougenfortians swarmed Samara City from every direction while the citizens stayed inside their homes and prayed for their safety.
Of course, the citizens easily got what they prayed for because Blanc always reminded his men to never hurt the citizens every time they were out to conquer more territory for Rougenfort Kingdom, and that ideology has already been deeply engraved in the hearts and minds of the military leaders.
Due to this, although the entire city was overrun by the Rougenfortians, no Samaran Citizen was hurt.
After half an hour of advancing inside the city, Helena and her men finally arrived in front of the castle and in just two short hours, they managed to break through the front gates.
As expected, after breaking through the gates, they met some resistance as Samara Kingdom's Grand Marshal, Emille Ironbrand, stood in their way.
Unfortunately for him, there was no way he could fight against three younger Swordmasters.
He and his men were quickly pushed back until they were cornered in front of the throne room where they decided to have their last stand.
*CLANG* *SPURT* *CLANG* *SPURT* *CLANG* *SPURT* *CLANG* *SPURT*
Swords clashed against swords as Emille's men slowly fell one by one, the front door of the Samara Castle's throne room stained with blood as the nauseating smell of blood and iron filled everyone's noses.
Some of the recently graduated recruits couldn't help but puke on the spot but the veterans were already used to the smell so they simply watched as Helena, Alexander, and Leif ganged up on Grand Marshal Emille who was easily defeated just a few minutes after being cornered.
Leif walked towards the defeated Grand Marshal, who was lying on the ground while spitting out blood due to his grievous injuries, and pointed his sword towards the Grand Marshal's throat in an attempt to end his life.
However, when Leif was about to ruthlessly stab his sword into Emille's throat, Helena stopped him. She respected this Grand Marshal and believed that this guy was at least as strong as Alexander and Leif, if not stronger.
In addition to his strength, he was also loyal. He fought for King Samara until the very end and Helena believes that there might be a chance for them to gain another strong and loyal Swordmaster.
This is why Helena ordered her men to tend to the unconscious Grand Marshal's wounds and temporarily detain him once he was fine.
She then looked at the huge door of the throne room with fury and anticipation.
After two years, she finally had the chance to avenge her father from the bastard, Rozen Samara.
*BANG*
Helena rudely opens the door of the throne room by kicking it as she releases all of the pent-up anger in her heart.
Unexpectedly, once the door opened, a crazy-looking King Samara who seemed to have lost his wits charged at Helena while screaming in hopes of catching her off-guard and killing her.
"HAAAAAAHH!"
*BANG*
*THUD*
Unfortunately for him, how could his stupid idea work against a tier 5 Swordmaster like Helena?
She simply slapped him with all of her strength which sent King Samara flying back to his throne.
"THAT FELT FUCKING GOOD!"
Helena thought to herself as she walked towards the barely conscious King Samara with an extremely disfigured left cheek due to the force of Helena's slap.
She then grabbed him by the collar and looked menacingly straight into his eyes.
"H-Hiiiiiih!"
King Samara squealed like a pig, he was genuinely scared when Helena stared at him with a mix of fury and excitement in her eyes.
"U-Unhand me! I'm the king! H-How dare you treat me this way?! Why are you attacking my kingdom?! What did I ever do to you to deserve this?!"
"You evil whore! UNHAND ME THIS INSTANT!"
King Samara grew crazier and crazier as time went by and of course, Helena had to keep him in check so she gave him another solid slap, this time on his right cheek to even things out.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO ME?! HUH?! DO YOU SERIOUSLY NOT EVEN REMEMBER ME?!"
Helena said as she was completely infuriated by the words of this self-centered king.
On the other hand, King Samara was confused, he was sure that he had already dealt with all of King Lockridge's children so why was this woman so angry at him?
Helena scoffed in fury, she then gave King Samara another slap before taking out the crest of the Laurelei family.
"THEN I BELIEVE YOU REMEMBER THIS?"
Helena said as she forcefully shoved the Laurelei family's crest on King Samara's face before holding it in place right in front of him.
Upon recognizing the crest, King Samara's eyes widened in utter shock and disbelief.
In his eyes, Count Laurelei was just a small noble from the countryside so how could he have connections with the Rougenfort Kingdom?
"L-L-Laurelei!"
King Samara's hair stood on end as he remembered one report from his subordinate that he initially didn't think much of.
After all, how could three escaped children do anything to him? The idea that they would be back for revenge didn't even cross his mind.
"You finally remembered…That's right, I'm the eldest daughter of the man you mercilessly killed, Leonardo Laurelei"
"Now…How about YOU tell me what you did to me? Didn't you even know? Rougenfort Kingdom was established because of you!"
After hearing what Helena said, King Samara's eyes almost popped out of their sockets because he couldn't believe what he just heard.
If everything Helena said was true, then there was no chance for him to negotiate with these guys.
Once reality hit him that he was going to die, King Samara flailed about. He didn't want to die and he didn't want to experience the pain of dying so he did everything just to stay alive.
He tried acting crazy and he even tried begging for his life, unfortunately for him, nothing worked.
After everything he did, how could Helena let him go?
