"Terravalleans! Forward!"
"Glory to Resonance City!"
The two armies of ordinary soldiers charged forward with blazing fighting spirits and they looked very determined to win against the opposing army.
Grand Marshal Geraint had a confident smile on his face as he watched the two armies with anticipation.
"General Helena, who do you think will win? I think your army gets decimated here…"
Veins popped on Helena's head after hearing Geraint's taunts.
"This guy really likes pissing me off huh?!" Helena angrily thought to herself.
This isn't the first time Geraint tried pissing her off. Throughout their whole journey towards Resonance City, Geraint had been constantly trying to anger her.
"He's definitely holding a grudge after being sent flying by me!" Helena thought.
"Hmmph! How will your men decimate my army when their Grand Marshal himself was sent flying?!" Helena retorted.
This time, it was Geraint who had veins popping on his head.
"Huhhh?! What does that have to do with our armies?! Were you kicked by a donkey in the head?!"
Geraint angrily replied
"Huhhh?! What are you saying when you're the one who got kicked?!"
Helena retorted angrily as well. By this time, they were already literally butting heads in anger.
*CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG*
Their banter was cut short after they heard the clash of blunt iron swords against blunt iron swords.
Geraint sincerely thought that his army would easily win but he was utterly shocked when neither side got the advantage.
"This young general's army is on par with mine?!" Geraint thought to himself.
On the other hand, Helena had a serious expression on her face. She too, really believed that her army would get a visible advantage against the Terravallean army.
"Hmmph! Is this your army?! Seems mediocre to me!" Helena said.
"Y-You wench!! You talk too much but your army can't get any advantage over mine!"
"Y-You dare call me a wench?!"
The two military leaders butted heads again and almost fought with each other. Fortunately, their subordinates were there to stop the fight.
"Hmmph! We'll have our chance to fight. I'll beat you to a pulp this time!" Geraint said before walking back to his army.
Staying beside this young female general will only make him angry.
"Ha! That's right! Go back to your mom and suck on her titties!" Helena shouted to Geraint.
Geraint was about to charge at her again in anger but fortunately, a general under Geraint stopped him on time.
The two of them no longer paid any attention to each other because there was a bit of progress on the ongoing mock war.
Helena furrowed her brows after seeing that her men were getting slightly pushed back. She didn't dare to look at Geraint's face right now because she would only probably be infuriated if she did.
The experience of Geraint's men was slowly becoming evident because Helena's men, although well-trained, had only been soldiers for 2 years at maximum.
Unlike the Terravallean army soldiers who were already in the military 4 years ago.
"Tch!" Helena was a bit distressed. She didn't want this hateful bastard Geraint to get any sort of advantage over her.
On the other hand, Geraint laughed as loud as he could after seeing that his army was starting to push back Helena's army
"You can't beat my army just like that little girl!" Geraint loudly proclaimed.
Helena gnashed her teeth in anger but she could only hope that her soldiers could turn things around.

"K..Kuhh! Sir! Shall we temporarily regroup?" A soldier from Resonance City asked
"No! Do not retreat! We're equal with these guys in terms of strength! If they're ahead in terms of experience then let's beat them with relentless aggression! Glory to Resonance City!!!!"
After hearing the temporary captain's speech, the Resonance City army got a second wind. They started to retaliate against the Terravallean army, slowly but surely equalizing the numbers again.
After three hours of continuous fighting, both sides were tired.
There were around 250 soldiers left on the Terravallean army's side while on the Resonance City army's side, there were only around 230.
The Terravalleans were still ahead although their lead was getting smaller and smaller.
The remaining Resonance City soldiers attacked the Terravalleans relentlessly even though they were behind in terms of remaining numbers.
"K..Kuhhh…What's wrong with these guys going all out on a joint military exercise?! Why are they fighting like mad dogs?!"
A Terravallean squad leader couldn't help but complain. As veteran soldiers, they should've been able to win cleanly but these Resonance City soldiers actually gave them a hard time!
The numbers slowly went down as more time passed.
After a few more minutes, the fight was down to 10 Terravalleans vs 8 soldiers from Resonance City. From a mock war, it suddenly became a small skirmish!
Right now, Geraint wasn't happy at all. Everyone knew that his soldiers had more experience than Helena's soldiers.
Being brought down to a skirmish like this is not a good look for them even if they win.
On the other hand, Helena was smiling proudly. He saw how the Resonance City soldiers forcefully gained a second wind for themselves through sheer will and fighting spirit.
Even if she loses here, she has already prepared rebuttals against Geraint's possible insults.
The remaining soldiers were panting hard as the battle slowly progressed towards the end.

"HAAAAHH!" A Terravallean soldier struck first but Helena's soldier managed to dodge his opponent's overhead chop by leaning to the right.
He then struck the Terravallean's neck which made the Terravallean soldier unconscious.
One versus One!
The two combatants circled each other while panting hard in exhaustion. Finally, the Terravallean soldier attacked first.
Unfortunately, Helena's soldier was struck on his shoulder. He wasn't able to dodge in time due to how exhausted he was.
As the soldier felt his consciousness slipping away, He didn't give up and stared at the Terravallean soldier's neck until his consciousness faded away.
Finally, as Helena's soldier was falling, he swung one last time toward the opponent's neck before falling face-first on the ground.
"Kuahhh!"
The Terravallean soldier was struck in the neck and also lost consciousness.
A loud cheer erupted from the crowd after a few seconds of stunned silence.
The mock war ended dramatically as Helena's last remaining soldier showed everyone how fierce the Resonance City's army was.
