(It's youuuu! Bitch!) Hyde's screaming voice echoed, disrupting the stillness that had prevailed since the girl's arrival.
Hyde struggled to get up, his body riddled with wounds yet still mostly fine. His violet eyes gleamed darkly as he glared at the pink-haired girl.

Her name is Leena Roseville, as previously emphasized by Royale. She is also a rank holder alongside Royale and Hyde in the nemesis' rankings.
When she was a 4-year-old child, her family was slaughtered by some mysterious people, leaving her and her sister as the sole survivors of that incident.
Leena is not a native of Black Star. Instead, she and her sister were brought into this world by that mad scientist not long after the tragedy. In the end, they became his experimental subjects willingly, due to the madman promising to grant them overwhelming power for vengeance, if they ever wanted it.
Yet, due to this, Leena's childhood growth turned into a cruel period of isolation and vengeance. This caused her to develop like an emotionless doll, unfamiliar with the natural emotions of the living. Perhaps the only one who could induce a ripple in her lifeless heart is her only sister, who is suffering an even more lifeless childhood than her.
And this kind of monotone life continued as she grew up more and more. Finally, years ago, she demonstrated her talents and promoted herself into the nemesis' ranking. But she didn't stop there. To gain strength, one by one, she put herself through grueling training, pushing herself to the extreme.
Until half a year ago, when a certain child broke her cold demeanor, for the third time in her life, she felt powerless. First being her family's demise, second due to her sister's suffering, third and lastly, because of her overconfidence, resulting in her defeat. This caused her to break. And this incident made her entire world crumble.
She, whohad believed with her talents she could gain enough power to obtain revenge for her family, suddenly got defeated. Not only that, the one who defeated her was the top-ranked at that time - Hyde - with 'Dread' being his code name in the nemesis' rankings, just like 'callous' for Royale.
During that time, due to focusing solely on her vengeance, she lost her way in life, continuously challenging higher-ranked holders. Eager to gain overwhelming power promised by the mad scientist and to destroy those responsible for her family's downfall, she sought to strengthen herself as quickly as possible. Despite her naivety as a child, she understood, albeit reluctantly, circumstances forced her to understand - everything comes at a cost. While the mad scientist pledged her immense power, she had to prove herself and achieve perfection in every experiment, including becoming the strongest subject.
Inevitably, she had to confront the current top-ranked individual, the most powerful among the thousand children of madness residing on the island [Geas CD].
However, in the end, she was defeated. This caused her fragile will to shatter, leading her to be almost consumed by the heart devils of her past, which tormented her every time she closed her eyes, repeatedly whispering "kill, kill, kill," gnawing at her mind like a permanent disease. This only added to the Never-ceasing torment of this pitiable girl, driving her to desperation in her quest for vengeance.
With her lack of emotions, she was already barely a worthy experiment for the madman. However, this defeat pushed her emotionless nature to the extreme.
If it were anyone else, they would have thought of committing suicide by now. Unfortunately, the children of madness imprisoned on this island weren't even allowed that kind of luxury, at least as long as that mad scientist exists.
Despite her broken self, she continued pushing herself, both for her revenge and her helpless sister. In those times, even the mad scientist thought of giving up on her and solely focusing on her sister. From his perspective, this girl was already finished, her will shattered completely. Even if she was talented, a lifeless husk wasn't exactly the ideal subject he wanted. Thus, in the end, he left her to her own devices.
Day after day, Lenna struggled to survive, even though she was still the second-ranked nemesis - {Flake of Thorns} - a position second to none amongst the children of madness.
This continued until the day she met him, a respite she found solace in for the first time in her life.

(Cough, cough. How long have you been here, bitch?) Hyde spat the blood in his mouth as he asked.
To that, the dazed "Flake of Thorns" came to her senses and indifferently replied, (Since the start.)
Hyde went silent, his anger threatening to overwhelm his rationality. (How dare you sneak attack me, bitch!)
He was so close, so close, yet someone interfered in his flawless plan. From his point of view, it's unforgivable!
As he yelled, the shadow behind him slowly became tangible, a pair of red eyes resembling the gates of hell gleaming in the darkness.
Hyde stepped onto the outstretched hand of the shadow, all the while commanding it, (Hades, it's time for the feast of a shadowy destruction!)

Meanwhile, Royale, who should have been shuddering previously, gazed at the rapid happenings with his callous eyes. Soon, unnoticed by the observers, a hint of a smile escaped from the corner of his mouth. [Leena, I set the stage. This time, kill him with your own hands,] he thought as he gazed at the ethereal figure bathed in 'nextrum moons.'
Then, his eyes on Hyde, he further thought, [What a fool. Did he really think I don't know what I got myself into by claiming the top rank? But does it matter now, since ultimately, you and your dark spirit are only meant to be the trigger for my parting gift to that madman.] While thinking, Royale's crimson eyes briefly glanced at the ether above him, as if ascertaining whether the mad scientist was watching the show both of them unknowingly created, a dawn that could potentially shake the black star once again. ☯️
