Chapter 9 - 4•11 : Attributes

6, Base Stats = This stats determine a user's condition and strength.

° Life Force {HP} ÷ is the"Fuel" that sustains and animates living beings. It is believed to be the essence of existence and a fundamental aspect of the material code. The life force is a vital formula that connects all living things in the universe. It is also said to be a biological genetic that helps a person recognize their family just by touching that said one's blood.

The life force also serves as an 'HP' gauge that determines a user's injuries, critical state, and death in the spiritual realm of augmentation - the material immersion. HP is a support system that depends on a user's survivability in battles, measuring the damage they can withstand before being defeated or killed.

Every time a user takes damage to their corporeal body, the HP gauge shows signs of decreasing, as if beginning an ability user's countdown to death.

Parallelly, the HP gauge could also be restored by healing potions or seeking aid from a healing-type ability user.

° Limit ÷ A limiter gauge that analyzes a user's specific abilities' limits.

Unlike Mana (MP), the "Formulas" users manifest to empower themselves\abilities, or skills is inexhaustible. This means that a user's resources never-depleting and can sustain them in battles for a long time until they reach their endurance limit.

However, it is important to note that just because a user's source can supply them with limitless energy, it doesn't mean there are no limits to their power..

One such is the 'Ability's Limit' that occurs when a user's own ability's power output/potential is weaker than the opponent's generated power output. This situation arises when either the user's ability has a weaker growth potential compared to the opponent's, there is a difference in power output levels, or their abilities are incompatible and suffer disadvantages in opposing elements. Other factors may also be at play.

Therefore, the 'Limit' is set to gauge the ability's possible sustainability in combat, while also acting as a life-saver that determines a user's odds of winning.

° ATK ÷ Attack is an attribute that defines the action of attacking something, utilizing various factors such as motion, severity, duration, frequency, target, method, vulnerability, and many other undetectable factors.

And, ability users can strengthen their 'ATK' stat by converging diverse elements.

° DEF ÷ The defense attribute is a characteristic or quality that relates to the capability to protect oneself or others from harm or danger. It is specifically associated with physical or mental strength, resilience, and the ability to withstand attacks or threats.

° STM ÷ The stamina attribute is a measure of a person's physical and mental endurance. It refers to the ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort without getting tired or fatigued. Stamina is an important stat for users, as it allows them to perform at a high rate for an extended period of time. It is also crucial in activities that require long periods of concentration or focus such as Duels.

° AGI ÷ Agility is a valuable attribute that allows users to adapt and respond to various circumstances by utilizing speed, flexibility, coordination, balance, and quick reflexes. An agile individual is able to move quickly and easily, change direction rapidly, and maintain balance while performing complex movements. They possess excellent hand-eye coordination and are able to react swiftly to stimuli.

° INT ÷ The intellect attribute can be defined as the capacity for rational thought, logical reasoning, and the ability to acquire and apply knowledge. It encompasses a person's cognitive abilities, including their problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities. Individuals with a high intellect attribute are often characterized by their intellectual curiosity, quick learning, and adaptability in various situations.

Primarily, a user's {Psychic Force} depends on their intellect stat value. The higher the numerical value of a user's intellect stat, the stronger their defined mental force will be. Typically, a user's intelligence is determined at birth and it is extremely difficult to increase their intellectual value unless they come across extraordinary leverage that has the potential to uplift that limit. Nevertheless, there are exceptions -

The ability users who are endowed with mental-related abilities ~ the Esper Classification.

° Overall Potential {OP} ÷ This attribute reflects the combination of all aforementioned stats and the one which depicts synergy between the power-output & combat capabilities.

Controversially, the power output levels are also partially defined by the 'OP' stat, as it requires the users to accumulate certain 'OP points' to achieve a breakthrough in power output. However, as I mentioned before, there is no clear way to define power output levels, and naturally, there is a reason behind it. Every user's power breakthrough differs because it is a simple truth that living beings, even the closest kin, have something that separates them from one another - natural talent. Ability users are the ones most likely to fall prey to this term.

That being said, in relation to the current topic, ability users need to amass specific 'OP points' according to their {Talent Requirements} to further power output. Thus, every user has their own unique requirements to fulfill, which means some users might only need a low accumulation of 'OP', while some might need an absurdly high amount of 'OP'. This may create a gap in the users' progression, but fortunately for them, power output is only one of the key factors to determine a battle outcome.

7. Classification: The term "classification" refers to the innate destiny course that an ability user is destined to walk on. It involves the path they have forged since the user's source formulation and the traits and individuality the user has embraced from that life-altering moment - the uniqueness.

The uniqueness defines an ability user's very fiber of being, and it is what makes a person special in their own right and complete as a wholesome existence.

The classification is an essential part of a user's uniqueness. From the time an ability user's specified classification awakens, it will greatly reinforce abilities and skills, while also maximizing a user's existential evolution and other capabilities in the long run. Basically, you can understand it as the jobs and hidden professions you acquire in a VRMMO setting.

In material immersion, the nexus system categorized classifications into - Automatic classification and Awakened classification.

° Automatic classification depicts a user's categorization of their natural talent, which are attuned towards the specified rules and augmentation in the Systematical database.

Those are ~ Warriors (Physical)

Espers (Mental & Soul)

Mages (Elemental magic)

Healers (Recovery properties)

Summoners (Summoning vessels)

Elementalists (Astral spirits)

Rune enchanters (Array runes)

Alchemists (Pioneering)

Blacksmiths (Equipment creator)

Life professions (Day to day jobs)

And The automatic classification is further divided into division classes based on the user's class affinity, weapon arts, racial and alien traits, playstyle, born advantage, mutation and transformation, and so on.

These division range from primary classes to secret classes such as weapon combatant, berserker, assassin, shield bearer, paladin, ranger, warlock/witch, wizard, sorcerer, cleric, priest, druid, necromancer, soul weaver, blood sucker, martial artist, god's apostle, demonic inhabitant, monstrous lineage, ancient inheritor, reincarnator, and many more.

° The Awakened classification is derived from a user's source and uniqueness, and truly belongs to them without being subject to the mechanisms of the nexus system and passive approaches like automatic classification and divisions.

While automatic classification acts as a passive boost in strength, the awakened classification embodies the true power of ability users' destined course and hard work.

Users can only obtain this hidden power through limited means, such as bloodline roots, inheritance, grueling training, euphonium, blessings, spiritual contracts or through specific actions & experiences that can be both good or evil...

But essentially, a user needs sheer willpower and determination to morph one's uniqueness or original abilities into awakened classification.

Although, ultimately, everything depends on an individual's source formulation.

8. Skills/Spells = The skills\spells can be manifested through harnessing {Formulas} derived from material code.

And they can be acquired or system-given based on a user's affinity and attributes, similar to a VRMMO setting. Additionally, they can also be inherited through family heritage or background, as seen in supernatural settings. Lastly, users could also create their own special techniques by going through 'Euphonium'.

9. Armament: In the realm of material immersion, armament is a broad term encompassing all types of equipment, including weapons, items, accessories, and artefacts.

Armament could be forged through blacksmithing, naturally formed under certain criterion, systematic creation for specific purposes, and other possible means.

The armament grades are ranked according to existential evolution & power-output levels ~
