Before Sophia could answer Alexander's call, Hunter stopped her.
"What do you mean by that?" Hunter demanded. "What do you mean by saying that I deserve it?"
Sophia tried futilely to shake off Hunter's hand.
"It's the truth," she snapped. "If you hadn't provoked Alexander for no reason, the public wouldn't have attacked you and this wouldn't have happened."
Anger burned in Hunter's stomach.
"You're biased towards Alexander!" he sneered. "You care so much about him. Have you told him that you have children?"
Sophia froze. "How does whether I have children or not have anything to do with Alexander?"
"What if I told him?" Hunter said passionately.
"How dare you!"
Hunter smiled. He had finally located Sophia's weak spot.
