When Pierrot arrived at the 3rd corridor, he saw two people near the unit assigned to him. It was a man and a woman, and he instantly took form since he knew they were possessed.
He approached the two, and they abruptly turned, startling Pierrot with their grotesque appearances.
Their skin was a sickly, mottled gray, stretched taut over their bones and veins, which pulsed unnaturally with black blood. The blood oozed from their eyes, ears, and mouths, staining their clothes and leaving a trail of black blood behind them.
Their mouths were twisted into wide, unnatural grins, revealing blood-stained teeth.
"There's two of you..." Pierrot sighed, almost tired from imagining the upcoming fight.
Without warning, the demons lunged at Pierrot. Their movements were disjointed, unpredictable yet strong.
Pierrot countered with a swift kick to the midsection of the man, but the blow was of low effect. It merely staggered back a little, before coming at him again.
He turned and gave another kick to the woman's body and the same thing happened.
"This is gonna be tough," he sighed, and stood straight as the two jumped on him. A smile formed on his face. "It's gonna be fun."
The man delivered a clawed swipe to Pierrot and he dodged, retaliating with a kick to his chest, but it barely slowed him down. The woman lunged next, her movements more unpredictable. Her hands flailed around, and jumped at Pierrot, and he side stepped and landed an elbow strike to her side.
"You both are tough." Pierrot took off his jacket. "Do you have names?"
The two demons only snarled as they stared at him, Pierrot making small jumpy movements with his fighting stance. He conjured some throwing blades while standing still, targeting the man.
It shrieked, and the woman instantly cried out, lunging at Pierrot with increased anger. Its movements were more intense. Its hands that flailed now more controlled swung at Pierrot. He ducked and kicked her by the legs, making her lose her footing. It recovered quickly, jumping at him again, this time succeeding. It climbed over Pierrot's back, and he realized, she was trying to pull on his hair.
"Hey!" Pierrot tried to move around, bashing the demon to the wall. "Not my hair!"
He continued slam her against the walls, and sent a throwing blade directly to her chest. Her grip from his back loosened, and he bashed her once more from the back until she was off of him. The man who was wailing jumped at him again, and Pierrot who was getting annoyed, ran back a little away from the couple, and hand comb his hair back to their neat place.
"Why would you do that, geez..." Pierrot continued to arrange his hair, and the two were already running toward him. "Everything but my hair..."
As Pierrot was still busy, the two lunged at him at the same time, and he could not dodge. Now the woman was over his head and the man clung on his leg, and he grunted. "ARGH!"
Pierrot knew the demons were low on attacks but have high defenses. Their attacks were merely biting with cow teeth, that was meant for eating grass.
"Seriously." Pierrot prepared to seal on his left hand. Yet he continued to thrash around, as the woman kept pulling on his hair. "Stop!"
He bashed them by the wall, lunging forward and forward, too strong that they crashed through it, into the unit, and out of the unit.
He saw Quill and Arc running by the hallway yet to reach their assigned units, with shocked expressions on their faces.
"PIERROT?!" Quill called, his voice tinged with panic.
"I'm fine!" Pierrot replied, despite his face not visible to them by the two demon that clung on to him. "Just help me get this demon off!" He pointed at the woman while his other hand pressed down the hair it was trying to pull.
"I don't want to go bald! Quill, hurry!" Pierrot called out, his voice strained from the effort of trying to dislodge the demons.
"Hold on!" Quill quickly arrived at Pierrot's side, assessing the situation quickly. With a decisive move, he grabbed hold of the woman's arm, leveraging his strength to pry her fingers from Pierrot's hair. Despite her resistance, Quill managed to pull her away, allowing Pierrot a moment of relief.
"Thanks." Pierrot smiled at him, as he held the woman by the arm, and slammed her from his back, down to the floor. "Seal this one for me quick."
Quill then prepared to seal. Pierrot kicked the man off his feet and he stumbled for a moment before recovering back again and lunging back to Pierrot.
"I thought it was going to be fun," Pierrot said as he kicked the man down back on the floor, damaging him minimally. "They are just annoying now."
Quill was waiting for him to seal, as he pinned the woman down with all his might.
"Arc!" Quill shouted. "Go to our assigned units now! I'll be there in a few minutes!"
Arc with a nod, ran toward the farthest right and when he turned, he saw a demon a few meters by the end window.
Its limbs were unnaturally long, hands with long nails like claws, and its body elongated, moved around fluidly as if its bones were flexible. It was reaching for something beyond the window, and he ran faster.
He took his white form and immediately lunged at the demon's back, pulling it backwards.
"Hang on!" he shouted, when he saw a person was hanging by the railing of the small space outside the window.
He grabbed the window screen and bashed the demon's head multiple times, as it staggered back to the wall. The demon was motionless on the side, and he quickly turned his form off before looking at the window.
"Give me your hand!" He pulled the little girl up. "Are you okay?"
The little girl cried. "Thank you..." her voice hoarse from her dry throat.
"Come on, we have to get you out of here."
