Suddenly, from the luminous glow, a feminine figure began to emerge. Draped in an elegant gown of baby blue and shimmering silver, they floated effortlessly, her presence radiating regality and grace. Intricate patterns adorned her attire, and its core was a masterfully woven dragon, its eyes gleaming starlight. She smiled softly; her gaze serene yet commanding.
" Welcome, " she said, her voice resonating like a melody. " I have been expecting you. "
Starfania instinctively stepped back, overwhelmed by the gravity of the moment. Her pulse quickened, and an indescribable energy buzzed in the air. It was as if every decision, every step she had taken, had led her to this precise instant. Her jaws dropped, but no word came–her mind was too consumed by awe from coherent thoughts. The dragon decided to help Starfania and used his tail to close her mouth. With a gentle flick, the dragon's tail nudged Starfania, bringing her back to the present. The figure in blue chuckled softly, her laughter like the tinkling of bells.
A surreal conversation unfolded before her, shattering any semblance of logic or rationality Starfania once clung to. The woman's voice resonated once more, soft yet filled with undeniable weight, unveiling a truth that sent shivers down her spine.
" It appears that the Dragon Savior has been chosen, and we have been eagerly waiting for you. " The word hung in the air, the gravity of the word sinking deep into her consciousness. She had never even heard of the terms of a Dragon Savior, but as she pondered the woman's words. Starfania soon realized she had seen this woman before, not in life but in dreams that had lingered like a whisper at the edge of her memory. Her presence, her gown, even the way she carried herself–it was all so achingly familiar.
The perplexing notion of being chosen as the Dragon Savior swirled in her mind, filling her with apprehension. Starfania didn't know how to feel about this title, she had never heard of it. Why out of everyone in Avalon was she chosen? Gathering her courage, she asked hesitantly, " What exactly does it mean to be the Dragon Savior? Why me? "
The woman chuckled lightly, her tone playful yet wise, as if she were indulging the curiosity of a child.
" Ah, such curiosity! You're always so eager to ask your question before I even finished speaking, " she said, her lips curling into a knowing smile. Her teasing surprised Starfania.
" Guilty as charged, " she said with a playful shrug, eager for her to continue. The woman's eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. "Being the Dragon Savior is no small task. It means you are destined to bridge the gap between our world and the dragons' realm. You are chosen for your courage, your heart, and your innate connection to magic."
Starfania felt a shiver run down her spine.
"But why me?" she pressed, her voice barely a whisper. The woman leaned closer, her expression growing serious. "You possess a rare ability, Starfania. Unlike others, you can communicate with the dragons. They see something in you—an understanding, a bond that few have. It is why you are the one."
Starfania's heart raced at the thought.
"What if I can't live up to it?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly. The woman placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Doubt is natural, but remember, every savior starts with uncertainty. It is how you respond to that uncertainty that defines your path."
