They flew in opposite directions, heading back to their own personal hell. Starfania led Bone back to his cave, as she settled him down for the night. Climbing down off of him and gently caressing his snout, his eyes slowly closing, enjoying the comfort. As she whispered towards him, " I'll come by again tomorrow. "He made a chirp sound in response as he curled up, eager for another day to come. As she bid him farewell before heading back to the castle. Upon her approach, she noticed a faint glow emanating from the hallways. An unsettling feeling washed over her as she now cautiously made her way towards the light. She grabbed the knob with a trembling hand and slowly pushed it open, and she was met with a stern gaze. His eyes were dark, but you can see a faint light crackling in them. His expression was hard and unyielding." Explain yourself, " Cesar demanded, his voice heavy and furious. She knew deep down this night would be eventful- especially since he mentioned a message from Professor Shadow regarding her absence in class. Standing there with his arms crossed, waiting for a response. Silence stretched between them as she struggled to find the right words, her mind beginning to cloud. The gravity of the situation bore down on her, leaving her lost in a storm of emotion, unable to express herself. The intensity in that room was almost suffocating. For a moment, she entertained the idea of fleeing to her room- to escape the situation entirely. It was as if she were a rabbit, frozen in the headlights, paralyzed, not sure on what to do. Her father's voice, once sharp with anger, eventually noticed something in his daughter. Her eyes seemed to dialect and her hands were shaking. As she seemed to scan the room looking for a way out. He simply put his hand on his face, sighing: " You know what? Just go to your room. "Starfania seemed a bit hesitant on moving, afraid that any movement would provoke a fresh wave of conflict. Cesar simply gestured to her to go on, and that seemed to get her body moving. Without another word, she turned away, retreating to the familiar room, where her trouble couldn't reach her- for now, at least. When she made it to her room, exhaustion took over. She flicked off the lights and surrendered to her dreams.
