Meanwhile, at the police station, Darica sat in the interrogation room, waiting for whoever was going to question her. it's been an hour since she was brought to the station, and apart from seeing the person who gave her water, she didn't see anyone again.
Her head was dizzy, and that nauseous feeling was still there. If it wasn't for her will to get the questions done with, she would have fallen already.
However, she kept on hanging on. She didn't want to be awakened later and suffer more, so for an hour, her nails had been digging into her palm, drawing blood to force her to remain awake.
Watching Darica suppressing her urge to faint were several officers with grim expressions.
"She can hold on for long!"
"Do you think that this is right?"
"If we don't do this, what good excuse do you have to let her leave this place?"
"And here I thought that she would let nature take its course."
