"Thank you for coming to see me!" Eric smilingly said as he looked at Darica, who had become more charming despite the craziness happening with a glint of obsession in his eyes.
Now that he had seen her again, his hidden love for her couldn't help but surface again.
Darica smiled as she waved her hand. "It's fine, ae. You are Duke's friend, so you are my friend as well. So, did he send you? Is he fine? Are they not making things difficult for him?" she suddenly started throwing a barrage of questions at Eric, her tone laced with worry.
And seeing her like that, Eric couldn't help but gnash his teeth with hatred.
Why did Duke have to get such a girl who was worried about him to such an extent, despite her own problems?
Without looking too deep into it, he could tell that Darica loved Duke and those eyes tell.
And knowing that, how could he be at ease?
